In the world of budget true wireless earbuds, the Skullcandy Dime True Wireless In-Ear Headphones stand out as a solid contender. They offer a commendable blend of design, comfort, sound quality, and battery life at an affordable price point. While they may not compete with higher-end models in terms of audio fidelity or advanced features, the Dime earbuds excel where it matters most: delivering a satisfying listening experience for the average consumer. If you're in the market for budget-friendly earbuds that don't compromise on performance, the Skullcandy Dime is definitely worth considering.

This product is amazing, I used other products by Skullcandy like the Skullcandy Indy's and I wanted to upgrade because I grew frustrated with those and I bought these, and all I can say is I love these, These earbuds have better sound quality, comfortability, technology and are pretty simple and clean, but I will say the battery on each bud is low but its no major problem because the case charges them quickly, Overall I think these are good earbuds for only around 20 dollars

Love these little things, I use them for the gym and they are perfect. They don’t fall out even if I’m running full speed or lifting heavy. I traded in my sesh Evo for these because of their size, the Evos looked giant on my ear and I even had to buy smaller ear plugs for them. These fit with the small attachment out of the box which is nice and they look small and classy. Sound quality is good, especially for the price and it’s so convenient to have in my keychain so I never forget them. 10/10 would recommend

These are pretty decent headphones for the price. They charge quickly and easy to store. Pretty simple to connect, and has a decent sound quality. The only part I disk like is the rubber part on the dead phone that pop out from the case, which gets dirty.

Let me start off with this if you’re wondering if they’re any good for this price, the answer is a resounding yes. Most of the cuts that were made to accomplish the low price are mainly in the charging case and battery life. There is no wireless charging and charging is done via micro USB cable. The battery is so-so at 3.5 hours and the charging case allowing for 2 full charges. You still get IPX4 certification so it’s safe to work out with them. Styling is very subtle resembling key fobs. Skullcandy even included a lanyard loop to attach them to your keys.
As for sound quality, they sound pretty good. There is some bass to them but not heavily emphasize but just enough to stand out. Sound is lacking in the depth department but overall they sound much better than some other headphones around this price range. You even get Bluetooth 5.0 on board.
Instead of touch controls, they have a single multi-use button. The controls are simple to use for example single tap for play/pause, double-tap for volume adjustment, press down for 1 second to skip/backtrack and tap 3 times to activate Google/Siri. Multiple ear size tips are included to accommodate different ear sizes. They’re comfortable to be used for extended periods of time. If they start to hurt your ear I would suggest changing the ear tip.
Overall Skullcandy did the right cuts and made sure to still focus on providing good audio quality. Of course, some of the obvious features like micro USB charging and lack of wireless charging stand out. But for the asking price, I rather take those cuts there instead of the audio side of things.

>> Overview
Skullcandy Dime headphones are an affordable and, so far, remarkable pair of true wireless in-ear headphones. They have a crisp sound and long battery life. With a compact carrying and charging case, they are easy to carry in your pocket and can save you if you need headphones right away. You don't really need to spend a hundred dollars or more on a true wireless device, this pair may just be enough.
Pros: compact case, easy to carry, affordable, long battery.
Cons: limited bass.
>> Sound
The Sound coming out of this pair is very crisp and clear, it makes phone calls delightful, so it is ideal for that purpose. With that being said, the bass is a little limited, so for listening to music, and especially if you are an audiophile, you may not enjoy as much as desired the sound coming out of the Skullcandy Dime.
The only potential annoying thing I’ve noticed so far is that sometimes when listening to some shows on my laptop (not my phone), there is a kind of echo coming out of the device, I am not sure what it is, perhaps it is the computer.
Regardless, I think Skullcandy delivers and impresses as expected, and the limitations are somewhat expected for the category this device belongs to.
>> Charging Case
The charging case is a good selling point, it is small and compact, very convenient to carry around. You can put it as part of your keys you carry around, if you are still the type of person like me who prefers physical keys for the house and car. Even if you are one of those who manages everything through your cellphone, this case fits easily in your pocket so you can take it anywhere and have your headphones at hand when needed.
>> Other Notes
A few things to consider:
- I initially wasn’t able to adjust the volume pressing on the side of the headphones, but it looks I was just pressing it wrong. So, it is a good idea to review the manual that comes with the device to learn its operation.
- If you only use the left earbud, it won’t tell you it needs to recharge, it will just turn off. Only the right one has that capability.
- No lights to pinpoint the headphones are fully charged, they just go from red to dark. So, not sure if the whole thing is charged or the case charger run out of battery itself.
A:AnswerYou more than likely didn't peel off the rubber sticker that covers the connectors on the ear buds. I made the same mistake too. Check the earbuds for white plastic cover on the 2 connectors that mate with the prongs in the case. Remove them.
A:AnswerWhen they turn off in the middle of a song. I've listened for up to 4 hours at a time and had no issue. My phone shows battery percentage of the ear buds in my notifications window. I usually go by that.
A:AnswerThe headphones will turn off automatically when they are plugged in, UNLESS the case is dead. You can tell by a tiny light on the earbuds. If the light turns on, the headphones are off and charging. No light means they are t charging and need to be turned off.
A:AnswerYou can pair them to more than 1 device. But you can only actively listen to 1 device at a time through them. However, because they're truly wireless, you don't have to use the left and right at the same time. You can leave 1 off in the charging case or in your pocket.
