Born in Bedfordshire, England, in 2003, Alfie Templeman grew up surrounded by music. His dad had an extensive (left-handed) guitar collection, leading Templeman to grow up playing the guitars upside down while eventually learning how to record himself on his computer. Templeman was only 15 when he released his first EP, Like an Animal. The talented singer/songwriter's lyrics discuss common issues like anxiety and relationships. Using his platform to help others, Templeman stated in an interview with NME, "There's never been a better time for kids to raise their voices ... I think it's so important that everyone like us should be using their platform." Templeman has already performed at multiple UK music festivals, including The Great Escape, Field Day and Truck Festival. With more than 2.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and top songs, "Happiness in Liquid Form" and "Things I Thought Were Mine" combining for more than 48 million streams, Templeman is on his way to becoming the next superstar of his generation.
