[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was full of anticipation before actually getting to use this product because of the claims made by the manufacturer. I have very thick, moderately long, and wavy hair which usually takes a long time to dry. Therefore, an appliance that would dry my hair more quickly due to its advanced thermal technology was definitely worth a try as far as I was concerned. In addition, wavy hair can generally be unruly as mine certainly is, and I was keen to be able to maintain the desired hairstyle for the maximum amount of time. 

This hairdryer is lighter than I thought it would be, and comes with a diffuser attachment which helps to disperse the air flow from the dryer and spread it over a larger area. Because I don't have curly hair, I probably won't need to utilize this tool. However, the second attachment that is included in the packaging is a concentrator which is particularly useful for me because I can use it to direct airflow which will give me greater control when styling my hair. 

The cord attached to the dryer is tangle free and allows for greater flexibility when styling. This particular cord is made of fabric which is something I have never encountered before. So far, I really like it. The fact that the cord is not retractable though, was a bit of a disappointment. I would have preferred it had I been able to retract it and thus store it neatly away. It can be rolled up, however, and should not take up too much room.

When it came to actually using this hairdryer, I was delighted to discover that it really did dry my hair much faster than I am used to. Although the packaging purports to achieve a 50% improvement in drying time, it took slightly longer in my case. This is probably due to the thickness of my hair. It has three different heat settings including a cool setting which is a priority when living in an area that sees very hot and humid summers. I would definitely use the cool setting during these periods. The two speed settings are desirable, although most other hairdryers on the market have more than one speed setting. I was absolutely delighted when my hairstyle lasted longer than usual, even during heat and humidity. However, during these adverse conditions I didn't expect it to last a full 24 hours, and it did not. I would expect it to last in normal conditions though.

I particularly like the fact that this hairdryer has a removable air filter which makes it especially easy to clean. I have never owned a dryer with a removable filter, and I am looking forward to being able to keep this product nice and clean. A very nice feature!

There is a the advantage of being able to hang up the hairdryer if so desired due to a plastic hanging hook on the device itself.

Overall, I was suitably impressed with my latest acquisition. Whether or not the claim that it will last longer than other dryers remains to be seen, and only time will tell. I was not at all disappointed, and I am sure this hairdryer would not prove a disappointment to others either.

The best dryer Ive owned

Hands down this is the best hairdryer on the market!  It has a 4 year warranty!  I have a lot of hair.  None of the other dryers come close to this,  even when they say they have the same wattage.  This is powerful and won't let you down.  It's not a cheap hair dryer!  Powerful well built!

Best hair dryer!

The best blow dryer I have ever purchased. I usually don’t do reviews but this blow dryer cut my time by 70%. I am an African American women who constantly braids her hair. This amazing dryer comes with a diffuser so if you’re trying to make sure your scalp is dry, especially if you braid or add extensions, this dryer is the bomb! It has a cool button so you won’t fry your hair and this would make my hair even easier to dry if i decide to rock my fro. Its a pretty lavender purple and not to heavy. It does has some weight to it and it’s not the quietest but the pros truly out weighs the cons. I would definitely buy it again and for the price I got it, it truly was a steal. Most diffuser attachments cost about $20. This dry for $30 gives me a great dryer, diffuser attachment and 2 other attachments as well. I’m in L O V E!!!

But it NoW!!!!!

The reason I got a new hair dryer was because whenever I used my old one, the concentrator attachments were constantly popping off. I was constantly having to stop what I was doing, find the rogue attachment, and pop it back on. Only to have to do it four more times (or more) during one flipping session.
Well.
Not only did BOTH concentrator attachments fit super snugly and NOT pop off during use, I am totally in love with this appliance. The high honestly surprised me with how powerful it was. It was powerful enough that I was still able to dry my hair in half the time  on the low heat setting. Definite plus! And my hair, for possibly the first time ever, had ZERO frizz after just being blown dry. I usually have to use a straightener at least a little after a blow dry, but I didn’t even pull it out. PLUS, do I even have to mention the fact that it has a strong fabric cord?!?

For the price, this is hands down the best hair dryer I have ever had.

I love this dryer. No frizz and fast drying. The only con is it sucks your hair in if you have long hair so you have to be careful.

Great Hair Dryer

Previous reviews said the weight was heavy but I personally disagree. Of course, it's not a travel hairdryer. I simply love it, it's super pretty, tiny (picture attached), and works perfectly.  It dries my hair very fast, I highly recommend this product.

Works great, lightweight and love the no tangle cord. Remington thought of everything with this one. 
The heat/cool buttons seem reversed and they are sensitive but not a problem

Highly dissapointed.  Would not recommend this for fine hair.  Does not do anything it claims.  My hair is totally unmanageable and frizzy from it.  Big waste of money.
