I purchased a market umbrella for my patio set.  But with the strong winds it kept getting blown over.  I needed something that would hold it down but still add to its beauty.  I looked at a lot of bases before deciding this one would be perfect.   The bronze color matched my furniture and fireplace.  It arrived packaged well and came with instructions and everything needed to assemble.  It only took me 5 minutes to put it together.  It weighs about 25lbs and should handle well in the wind.  It is made of very heavy duty material and looks very durable.  It's not big and bulky or an eye sore like others Ive seen.  Great addition to my patio and I can't wait to admire it while drinking cocktails this summer.

This is a Heavy weight umbrella stand. We live in a coastal town with a lot of wind. The screw at the base helps to keep the umbrella in place.

Bought this with the umbrella. It looks very nice and has been pretty sturdy. Assembly was very easy and everything needed was included in the box. I like that it came with 3 different "shims" for different umbrella rod sizes, so there's no wobble with thinner rods.

It's not super heavy. But gets the job done.
I'm going to paint it blue to match the umbrella.

Heavy and sturdy

A little cheaper quality than I was expecting, but it does it's job. Since it goes through our patio table, it shouldn't be too much of an issue. The base is sturdy and heavy, but the pole holder part is plastic.  You just can't tighten it too much or the pole holder bows out a tiny bit from the bolt. Overall for the price, it's pretty good.

It does it's job

Love the bronze accents and the weight is great but the pole and section that connects to the weight is not made to last and one windstorm broke it off the base.  No longer usable now.

Nice but not didn't last a whole season

It's wobbly and will not hold up a 15 ft umbrella. I had this up and ready, tighten but the bolt under the Base. It still was wobbly and the umbrella would just lean and after while fall over. The Base can not be returned. So now I have to find another Umbrella Base.
