Are you asking is there a difference between the way they are typed: "12lb-1000 yard" and "12lb/1000 yard"? REALLY??? They're the same meaning!

Would 10 lb. be ok for basic shore fishing in Ohio? I mean the biggest fish I have caught is 5 lbs ever here.

I thought cause it was cheap priced line it would suck cause I'm used to high priced line like seguar, power pro spectra, pline and maxima, I guess I was wrong all along, I'll never change stern is by far my new favorite over all.

I've been using this line for years and am very happy with it's performance...!!

Great Line

You can't go wrong with this line. Great for surf or pier fishing. Great viability also. I prefer either green or blue.

Quality mono line

Used for largemouth bass in fresh water,and coastal waters in nc. I have tried alot of fishing line over the years and keep coming back to this line. It has never let me down.

I use Stren High Impact 10# test on all my trolling rods that I use for walleye on Lake Erie. I have no problem landing 10 pound plus walleye as well as monster sheephead and catfish while trolling. I replace the line on my reels at least three times a season so the low cost of the filler spools is ideal for the fishermen on a budget. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Awesome line for a low price

Just came back from Salmon fishing. I had Trilene  XL 12lb XL on and it kept breaking.  I thought the line might be old so I restrung the outer part of the reel with more of the same that a friend had.  It kept breaking.  I walked back to the car and grabbed the roll of Stren clear 15lb high Impact I brought just in case.  I could not even remember where I bought it so I had very low expectations for a good result.  My perception from just looking at the line Is that it is probably junk.  When I finished restringing my spool I said it again,  this is junk line.  To my amazement this stuff is great.  After catching 2 fish on the same hook and the same line I hooked into a 28lb fish who dragged me into the current.  I never let up on him at all and had total confidence the line would hold up.   I ended up catching the biggest fish of the day on this line.  I am VERY impressed and will be using this line every year from now on.

I would suggest buying this line it is really good for baitcasters and spinning reels it works the same for me

i caught a 6 pound bass with this line

When putting the line on it tangles around the tip of the rod and then creates a tangled mess when you cast. Will never buy again.
