The Pine Mountain wind and water proof matches are a cool and inventive product. They do exactly what they're supposed to do. I lit one outside on a windy day and it stayed lit for a long time despite the wind blowing. Definitely going to take these on my next camping trip. Love this product

I would highly recommend buying Pine Mountain wind and water proof matches for your next outdoor trip.  I tested these out on an extremely windy day and poured water over the match.  It didn't light up on the first try, though that may have been user error, and it lit up on the second try.  It stayed lit as it was being doused with water for a long time, as the 25 second guarantee states on the box.  The price is also very reasonable.  The only downside to this product for me is that even after washing my hands, the match residue smell remains a little bit.

Great Product for the Outdoors

Pine mountain wind and waterproof matches are excellent for camping and hiking. I like the idea that they are guaranteed to stay lit for up to 25 seconds and will light even after getting wet. You don't always plan on staying dry when camping and this is a great benefit. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.

Convenient

I purchased these matches specifically for camping trips. The last trip we took, I left the matches in the bed of the truck. After looking for them for what seemed like forever I found them in the bed, the package soaking wet. I wasn't sure they were going to work. The match lit right up, no problem. Good stuff

We are not campers or backpackers, but my family does campfires at home often. This is a great product to use for that and can easily be kept outdoors with the marshmallow sticks and firewood. All in all, they really come in handy.  I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.

Handy for backyard campfires

The Pine  Mountain wind and waterproof matches were intense when lit, and smelled similar to fireworks.  When lit,, they lasted about 15-20 seconds before burning out.  Rhe first match I tried seems to have been a dud,, as I tried to light it several times,, nearly wearing off all the rough material on one side of the box,, and still being unable to light it.  I was able to lights 2 other matches with relative ease.  However,, I lit the matches in indoor, controlled conditions, and am not sure how the matches would fare outside or when damp.  I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.
