A smart and simple storage that swallows up the children's toys and soft toy animals – and makes it easy to tidy up in a flash, especially if you do it together.

The top of the frame make the storage simple to carry and move to another room. After all, children want to be where you are.

If you want to create a calm impression, you can place the storage in a corner with the covered sides facing outwards.

The round holes in two of the sides make it easy to tuck away and quickly reach the favorite things, while the mesh fabric prevents them from falling out.

It is easy to see the contents through the mesh fabric.

The pocket on the outer side is perfect for small treasures or drawings

Sturdy and safe storage with rounded corners, and without sharp edges.

The fabric is made of polyester, of which at least 90% is recycled – a durable material which is tested, approved and free from harmful substances and additives.

The mesh fabric can be removed and washed.

Great and unique storage…once you get it assembledJustinMy biggest complaint about this is the difficulty with assembly. I’m used to putting together furniture including IKEA furniture, but this was a challenge. It was awkward to hold things in place while also installing the X-shaped support frames and then slide them onto the screws on each of the four legs. Also, the instructions were clear on some aspects (such as noting not to tighten screws yet or when and where to use the different sized support bases), but unclear on others (such as warning how to position the top handles so they are facing the correct direction for the later step with the awkward X-support connection to the leg screws). It took me well over half an hour to assemble; you do need a Phillips (+) head screwdriver. But…once it’s put together, it is neat, unique, and a good value. It is larger than you might expect (double check dimensions). I’m still happy I bought it. I just hope IKEA finds a way to make assembly less stressful!4

Great Cat TowerPatrick CAlthough irritated by the initial difficulty of assemblage, this item from the children's section of IKEA has served our household well. Our cat loves it! its her favorite thing, outside of using the IKEA couch we have as a scratching post. The netting provides her the ability to see a full view, while also feeling safe within the tower. She uses all 3 levels although I did need to add carboard to the lower level to support her weight better.4

Be patient assembling it.MaryIt took a second putting this together solo. The trick is do not over tighten the bolts. Only tighten enough to hold them in place securely. I also put both the sides up immediately and put the bottom pieces in the pockets to help stabilize it. Once you have placed the bottom poles that connect to the bolts then tighten them down all the way. I really love this product and I put it in my son’s room to match the ocean theme IKEA offers and it matches perfectly and holds a good amount of his stuffed animals. We call it the stuffed animal hotel lol. This product is not for heavy items. It’s for light stuff only btw. Perfect for light stuff thought and easy for kids to use.5

I’m not sure why people are complaining about the set up, it was really simple to me and I thought the photo instructions were very easy to follow. Took me about 5-10 minutes to put together. The screw holes DO align you just need to turn the main poles to match up. If you don’t put the curved bars on the right direction then it won’t work (holes need to be facing inward) but you’d notice right away when installing the cross bars that hook onto the screws. 5

Screw holes don’t align SandraI drove an hour and a half to IKEA to purchase this storage item. Got home to assemble. The acre holes do NOT line up at all. Assembly is impossible. Now I get to drive all the way back to return it?! I’m done with you, IKEA. Do better. 1

Great stuffed animal holderInnaMy daughter previously had her stuffed animals in one big bin and she would only play with the ones she could visibly see on the top of the pile. After using the Tigerfink for a few weeks I noticed she would play with more of her stuffed animals. It’s easier to see and pull out the stuffed animals in this container. Additionally, the handles are secure enough that I can easily move around the tigerfink as needed when cleaning her bedroom. Wish it would come in various colors so it would better fit the aesthetic of the room. Also wish the directions were not so complicated. I have put many an ikea furniture together and this is one of those items that I needed a second person to “read” with me to better understand what was pictured. 5
Quick and Easy AssemblyMonicaI love this toy storage! I wanted somewhere to quickly and easily store my son’s growing stuffed animal collection and this even matches our color scheme for his play area. I was a little hesitant after reading the reviews about assembly, but I didn’t find it to be a problem at all. Took me, alone, less than 20 minutes, even including a pause to change my son’s diaper. Maybe I was just expecting it to be troublesome due to the reviews, but that was not my experience at all. I’m so glad I took the “risk” because it’s so cute and the perfect size!5
GREAT for storing stuffysNatalieYes this is a giant pain to put together. I thought this was going to cause me and my husband to come to blows BUT once we did get it put together it is 100% worth it. It holds SO MANY toys so I absolutely love it. 5
Require too much time to assembleHanI received the item with the thought of putting it together in couple mins. In fact, it took more than 30 mins for both of us to do it. It requires 2 people, one holding the parts and one screw everything in. The instruction was just pictures with no words. It takes too much time for a cheap product like this. 2
It’s getting returnedLenaReally looked forward to this for our daughter’s room to help her put her stuffed animals “to bed” at night”. Not anymore. It’s in a pile on her floor and getting packed up to return to the store because it’s actually impossible to assemble. Instructions were a joke and none of the parts/holes line up correctly. Also, Task Rabbit should not be required for a $15 item that is a glorified laundry hamper. Take that suggestion and put it right in the trash where it belongs. 1

The Worst IKEA Product I've ever Purchased MaryThis is the worst product I have ever purchased from IKEA. I have built beds, dressers, bookshelves, servers, etc and this is the hardest one I have ever put together. It is absolutely going back as it would be easier to throw it through my window and replace that rather than try and finish putting this together. 1

With TIGERFINK, we wanted to create smart and simple storage that can swallow the children’s stuffed animals and toys. So they can find their favorite things fast and easy – and stow everything away when it’s time to call it a night and go to bed. But TIGERFINK became more than that.

Storage. A small word that means a lot in most homes – and for us at Children’s IKEA. “We have many good storage solutions in the range,” says designer Johanna Jelinek. “but we saw a need to add something lighter and more flexible.”

Storage that moves with the play

Already from the start, Johanna and her colleagues thought about using textiles. “We wanted to move away from the most common types of storage, like hard boxes, and create something that’s easy to bring between different rooms. You can take off the mesh fabric and wash it, and it feels soft and nice.” The round holes on the sides make it easy to reach your favorite toys. And if you put TIGERFINK in a corner, with the covered sides facing the room, you can hardly see what’s inside. “I think many parents can agree it’s nice to not have to see all the toys all the time.”

A bed for soft friends

When TIGERFINK had passed the safety tests, the team invited a group of children to Kid’s Lab to make sure it worked the way they had imagined. “Children are amazing; they immediately put in and picked out toys from TIGERFINK and began playing on the flat surface on the top. Just like we had hoped.” But new ideas came up as well, things that Johanna and her colleagues hadn’t thought of. ”One boy used the three different storage levels as a bunk bed for the soft toys. And that’s of course also a way to use TIGERFINK.”
