Great lap tray for toddlers on long car rides. I really like that it doubles as a tablet holder behind the seats as well. Fabric is that wipeable tote plastic fabric. Great pockets for other things. It folds up for space storage, so when you do unfold to use on the lap, have to put a folder or book underneath in the slot so it doesn't fold itself in when in lap use.

Handy Accessory for car rides

This J.L. Childress 3-1 travel lap tray/iPad holder is awesome! It has straps so you can hang it from the back of the seat. It also has a zipped pocket so your kiddos can put paper, crayons, activities ect in. There are mesh pockets so they can put their things in while they are using the lap tray. Overall this is pretty handy.

Handy!

Out the box I knew this was going to be a great item. I couldn't wait to let my grandbaby use it. She uses it in her car seat, stroller and even when she's sitting in the tv room. The 3-n-1 travel tray and tablet holder is very versatile and easy to wipe down if there are any spills. I simply used a disinfectant wipe since are under extra precautions due to COVID. Also I allow her to wipe the tray side after she eats her snack. I can also put a book in zipper section if I chose to do so. 

While using it, we can easily prepare it for movement from one place to another. Simply place everything in the slots and I allow my grandchild to carry the tote making her feel even more responsible for her belongings. As a mother myself, I wish items like this were available when my child was younger. However, I do get to reap the benefits as a grandmother. 

We unfortunately have had a chance to use on an airplane since travel is still somewhat limited due to the pandemic. If afforded the chance, I would like to have one for myself as I think airplane tray tables are disgustingly nasty. This tote would be great for adult use also. It can hold cell phones, tablets, writing utensils as well as travel documents while utilizing planes or even trains. If someone lives in a city with subways, busing systems or trains, this would be a nice way for them to make their daily commutes. 

I would highly recommend this not only for kids but for adults as well. I would suggest advertising this to all ages.

I love this!

I am impressed with this travel lap tray/tablet holder. I'll start off with the belt, it is fully adjustable and generously sized. I am a plus-sized woman and I can comfortably sit in a car seat with this tray around my waist. It also fits my four-year-old perfectly. The waist strap can be used to carry it over your shoulder. This would make it easy for traveling around a busy airport. It weighs virtually nothing since the inside is made up of two foam pieces. I like the convenient pockets on the sides which can be removed because they are held on with velcro. There is an elastic loop that is made to hold a bottle of water or a sippy cup. There are so many uses for a lap tray, especially for a child stuck in a car seat/booster seat during long car trips. It can be used for coloring, resting a tablet on, eating snacks (and catching crumbs), etc.

Perfect travel helper

So, I have to admit that I love this product. Trust moms to develop a great lap tray for other moms- I mean kids! In all seriousness, it is lightweight. Meaning the bag doesn't weigh ten pounds on its own- without anything in it! The ya going strap opens- so it can hook onto the back of the seat of a car, or it can be used while out and about- taking it out of the. At to keep the kids quiet while you shop. The material seems to prevent stains- which is always helpful for a product used by kids! I love the tablet pocket- which makes it perfect for long car trips (I am so tired of hearing “are we there yet?” - and it has only been 5 minutes! At first I was nervous that it was flimsy- but I soon realized that you have to keep the foam inserts- so they can maintain the shape of the bag while being soft enough to sit on a kids lap. I like the lip that is meant to hold items on the lap (keep crayons from rolling off). I also love the mesh bags, which are velcroed onto the sides. Seriously genius- love love love how convenient it is. I also like the inside- that has a zipper- to ensure that nothing important comes out- unless you want it to. Definitely great!

Great lightweight lap tray!

So for the most part I like this travel lap tray and iPad holder. The strap is adjustable which comes in handy for putting it over my seats head rest for her to watch TV on. The trap has two detachable pockets which are nice for snacks and toys . I like that you can take them off to so they are not in the way when using it to watch her iPad. The whole thing unzips as well so you can store coloring books or tablets. The gray and cool minty accent colors are cute for any gender. It has a flexible plastic insert as well to help keep the tray stable when using. The only issue I have is the inserts are a bit to flexible so it doesn't stay nice and stiff when using it in my little ones lap. I've fixed this by adding some flat cardboard to the inside to make it a bit more stable. I would recommend it to anyone with kids and I definitely use it on every car trip.

Nice addition to any car ride.

Nice for travel you can set it up as a lap tray for your child to color or play and has two sides pockets to put extra crayons markers games pieces or snacks. It can also change into an iPad holder I have the Amazon 7 kids fire tablets and I use for that and it attaches to the back of a headrest so your child can watch.

This tablet holder does the job and makes
It easier for your child to hold the tablet during traveling. But you
Can also use it at home just as well. You do need to put something underneath to raise it when using it at home. But otherwise it still does the job at keep the tablet in one place. 
I would recommend this J.L brand tablet holder if you're in the market for one. 


Now my only complaint is that I would recommend the company to improve the walls on the tablet holder and make them a little more stronger.

Nice tablet holder

I think this is a good product, seems to be made with good quality and as an IPad holder it works great; however; using it as a lap desk in a carseat with a 5pt harness doesn't work well. It is too big for her little lap and doesn't really lay well across her convertible carseat but she does like it. I feel like this would be a great product for a child in a highbacked or backless booster seat but not a bigger carseat. As a tablet holder, it's great and serves it's purpose. We really enjoy the way it folds up and can be carried in the diaper bag.

Good product but not suited for bigger carseats

I think the whole idea and concept is a great idea! 
The product itself, however, was not exactly what
I was expecting but not too far off. In the picture it looks sturdy, 
maybe even a little stiff, It looks like it should be able to stand
solid and hold itself up with minimal support, however ,when unfolded 
and shaped to resemble a travel tray to play with toys, 
hold a coloring book, or support a cup it is not as sturdy 
as you'd hope BUT the "walls" seem to hold themselves 
up pretty well, and it does have two little hard plastic inserts to 
make it a bit more stable. I dont think this particular 
product would be good for the younger children or the more
 hyper/fidgety littles, this would probably be more suitable
for the older children. It does make a very nice shoulder
bag, or tablet/folder/coloring book carrying case though!

Not disappointed but wouldn't want a second one

Decent product but because the support (foam) comes in two pieces, it collapses a bit in the middle. Unfortunately because of that collapse (in the middle) my daughters sippy cup doesn't sit well in the designated spot in the picture.  I would have considered rating it a little better but the shipping company that was chosen for this product was absolutely horrible.  I ordered this with a 2 day shipping. First it was shipped to a different state (over 800miles away)  when it was only a 30 minute drive from my house. Then they took an additional 3 days to "locate" my package. Then it took another 4 days to get to my house. I purchased this 8 days before a trip with the intention of using it for my 3 year old. Unfortunately it didn't arrive at my house until the day before I got home.  10 days it took to receive a package that was supposed to only take 2.....Not worth it in my opinion.
