LikedDecent spread for breakfast but wish there was more variety available for lunch and dinner. Pool / Splash bar were great. The staff for managing breakfast seemed quite well trained.

DislikedWould have liked a better variety of food options (dishes, not cuisines) for lunch and dinner. Chef should be flexible enough to cater to different requirements. Staff in the restaurants (during lunch and dinner) could be better trained to handle large or diverse groups. No dessert spoons or coffee stirrers were kept readily available.

LikedBreakfast was very good. There are two pools, one more for kids. The hotel is also connected to St Regis hotel so easy to get a hotel golf cart to drive you as we ate at Kayaputi on one night which was 11/10. The bed is so comfy and the room was very spacious.

DislikedThe hallway/ wing we stayed on was under instructions so it was very cumbersome to get to the reception and move around using lifts and stairs. I'm sure when this is completed it should be easier to move around the resort. The boat house charged for water activities such as kayaks , in other countries I've visited with similar luxury resort setups these are usually free. The gift shop that said open never once had someone manning it and the door was always locked despite me asking staff about seeing goods for sale and their response that there should be someone there. It is located on the east side of the island. If you're looking to explore Langkawi most attractions are on the west or north so expect to pay for transport with a 40 minute ride to get round.
