I filled my tank with Lysol and it did a great cleaning job while making the room smell great. I do have a steam mop but I can't use chemicals in it. I actually like this better. Picks up everything on the floor without scrubbing. Then trigger is easy to spray and covers a large area. It is the right length and has a rubber grip in the middle, I'm assuming it is for scrubbing, even though it makes it great to turn upside down to take off the pad.

The pad is heavy Velcro on one corner which keeps the pad on securely but also makes it easy to wash and replace. Pad has a heavy nylon lining to last a long time. 

The only thing I found negative for me is the width of the pad. It could be a little smaller for my use, I don't have any large floors without carpet. If you have a large floor area this would be great.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants something better than a standard mop. Easy to use, you get a great clean, and no mess.

Great mop bigger than expected

With a child in the house, I really can’t have enough methods to keep my floors clean. Especially when you have a little boy! That’s why I chose the O-Cedar ProMist MAX Spray Mop. Just a side note, this item came fully assembled so you might keep that in mind when it comes to delivery options. I have a small car, so I was glad I was able to have the item delivered to my home.

I found this item to be remarkably light-weight. I have an old Swiffer machine that I had been using which is more noticeably heavy. The tank only uses two teaspoons of cleaning solution and is very easy to use and maneuver around the floors. The machine does swivel easily as well. There really wasn’t any need to read directions, just begin using. I liked the bright red of the mop, it can even make cleaning fun for children with proper guidance.

I always prefer to buy items that have an established name and I feel that O-Cedar is just one such company. Most people know they are well known for their floor products among others. I think you will be happy with your purchase.

Great for quick clean-up!

The O-cedar ProMist Microfiber Spray Mop is an easy-to-use, light and efficient. I find it great for picking up those daily spots in the kitchen. The mop worked great on my tile floors. Here's how it works: Fill the bottle with cold, warm or hot water(your choice) and add two teaspoons of cleaning solution. The one-touch bottle release makes for easy removal. Then, spray and clean your floors and when done, machine wash the Microfiber pad in warm water, but do not use dryer sheets when drying. The instructions state NOT to use undiluted cleaner, bleach or wax on your floors. The Microfiber pad is machine washable over 100 times and refills are available. The pad has "scrub zones" that help remove tough grease and grime. I love the way it sprays the floor evenly in front of you. This mop is wonderful on sticky messes on the kitchen floor and because the mop head flips, you can clean longer without stopping! I also like that the mop head is large and cleans more surface in less time! I am in love with the this mop. I highly recommend it and am keeping it in my kitchen for quick reach. I highly recommend it to everyone! O Cedar truly makes my life easier.

Best quick pick up mop ever!

My house is 85% wood floors and vinyl floors. So, I am always looking for something to keep them clean. I decided to try the O-Cedar ProMist MAX Microfiber Spray Mop. One of the things I love about this mop is that it is not electric or battery operated. The problem with the electric mops is that you have to have a cord long enough to span the length of your room. And the problem I have with my battery operated mop is that the battery tends to run out at the worse times! With this O-Cedar ProMist MAX Microfiber Spray mop you do not have to contend with any of those issues. I had my eleven year old get it out of the box and clean my bathroom floor. She did not ask me ANY questions on how to use it. I am serious…my eleven year old was able to read the directions and clean the floor. It took her about five to ten minutes to get it, read the instructions, and had it cleaning the floor! Then my husband used it on my hardwood kitchen floor and he LOVES IT! I am not even kidding with how much my husband really likes this mop for our hardwood floors. The hand trigger allows you to pump out as much or as little liquid on the floor surface as you want. This is a very straight forward floor mop. Nice product!

Easy and Helpful!

I love that this mop is refillable and also washable. It's is definitely a money saver. I like that I am able to spray as much cleaner on the floor also. One con is that if you are pressing too hard to get a spot off the floor that sometimes the mop head comes loose from the mop handle. Otherwise there are two sides to the mop head, so it is possible to get the floor clean without rinsing the mole head.

Excellent cost saver!

With a kid, cat and two busy adults, my floors can be difficult to keep clean. My floor care routine is fairly complex. I got this mop from the Spark Reviewer Program in exchange for a review. I had hoped for better. While it is substantially cheaper and quieter than my steam mop, the steam mop does a much better job of cleaning the floors. I can only see using this for quick spot cleaning, as this just left smears and streaks across the floor, even after sweeping and vacuuming. One good point is that it takes only two teaspoons of cleaner and water in the reservoir. That could lead to substantial savings. The two sided mop head is also nice.

Average mop, I have better...

This is the first time I have ever used this type of spray style mop like the OCedar ProMist Max Microfiber Spray Mop. The refillable bottle just pops out with the push of the button and is easy to fill with your cleaning solution and snap right back in to the mop. The mop head rotates 180 degrees so you can mop on both sides of the microfiber cover and it is removable so you can wash it without having to buy costly replacements like some spray mops on the market. They also say that you can wash it 100 times. Not sure about that one at this time. The spray head does a great job spraying out your solution in a very nice spray pattern with a very easy pull of the trigger. But after using it I have to say that it is a very good upper body work out. I’m not sure why anyone would want a dry mop with a spray bottle on it, (it just makes no sense to me). And after mopping my laminate floors, it left streaks all over and with the amount of effort that I had to put in to this type of mopping system, I will be sticking to the OCedar Easy Wring Spin Mop and Bucket System. But if you have a need for this type of mop, don’t let what I say bother you. I’m an old fashion type of guy and it’s just not for me. I hope this helps you in some way. Good luck,

Not for me!

I really wanted to like this O-Cedar ProMist Max Spray Mop. I found that the Spray mop to be extremely difficult and frustrating to use. The instructions were not clear or easy to follow. The plastic microfiber pad holder kept coming off the handle. I have arthritis in both hands and had to have help putting the holder back on the handle, not a very good design. The water container was also really awkward to remove from spray mop an fill with water, then replace back on spray mop. The water that comes out of the container when using over sprays the desired area to be cleaned. Unless you have the handle straight up then push the spray button it will spray on that desired area. The first time using it, I used just tap water it left lots of water streaks through out my flooring which is ceramic tile. The second time using it I used distilled water same thing lot's of streaks. I had to get my Shark Steam Cleaner out to remove all the water streaks. What I did like about the spray mop I was able to get under some furniture without having to move them. It also cleaned a large wide area in one sweep. It did clean the floor of leftover debris, I used a Swiffer with a dry cloth before using the spray mop. The handle is to heavy and the bottom plastic holder is to wide to hang in the utility broom closet with all the other long handle cleaning items, so it will be stored in the garage. In the end unfortunately O-Cedar ProMist Max Spray Mop didn't make my life easier.

Not Impressed

I was really looking forward to getting this mop and all I can say is that it was a big disappointment. What I thought would be a good product turned out not to be.

This mop features the ability to spray chemical cleaner onto the floor directly in front of the mop, supposedly to eliminate your need for a bucket. You have to provide your own cleaning solution which you dilute in the attached bottle. The bottle is easy enough to fill and attach to the mop pole. The best part of the mop is the pad which is thick and textured and is easily removed by a Velcro strip. Further, while using the mop you can flip it over, doubling the amount of pad you have available which is more than a normal mop can do. When you're done using the mop you can wash the pad (however, you mustn't use any fabric softener and can't dry it in the dryer--must lay it flat to dry). This washing limitation was a turn-off to me.

I found the mop easy to setup with the cleaning solution bottle on the mop pole. The spray is activated by a lever you pull at the upper mop pole. It sprays an adequate amount of spray onto the floor. But the mop didn't do that good of a job at cleaning, particularly in high traffic areas and against walls (and around the toilet--though I guess most mops aren't good there either).

The pad came off easily when it was wet and washed well enough. It was a bit stiff after the washing.

I can't wholeheartedly recommend this mop.

Not impressed

It was the wrong mop from the beginning, but It was missing the spray bottle that you add your cleaning liquid to. Not sure if my shopper didn't notice when he got it, or he didn't handle it with care. Luckily customer service was able to fix the issue.
