Loved how it looked but poorly cut

I loved the material, style, & fit of this dress. Unfortunately, it bunched up strangely along the sides near the hip, although it fit perfectly everywhere else. If you look at the model photos, you can see what I'm referring to. I brought the dress to my tailor to see if it could be altered, and he said no because the front panel of the dress was measured/cut incorrectly. This is such a bummer because I loved the dress otherwise!
