The dimensions are not the concern, the quality is. It will not hold up! You will be stuck with an expensive and useless trashcan.

I think so but don&#39;t have any to try. I have 13 gallon &amp; they are way too big. I just bought 10 gallon trash bags as they were the smallest I could find.
I really only need 1 trash bag for the organic waste. The other 2 compartments stay clean. Since I empty more often (3 or 4 days) it doesn&#39;t get as nasty as my old trash can that was emptied once a week.

I think so but I found that the ten gallon works better. You need to overlap the bag quite a bit to keep it in the bin.  There is a little bit of wasted space when we take them out to trash but I usually fill it with the bathroom trash and clean out my car. I do love this trash bin. It is the second one I have had and I only replaced it because the first one was 10 years old. My favorite part is you don&#39;t smell the trash when you walk in the door.

This product is not rated for outdoor use.

it was unable to withstand 8 months of normal use in my kitchen, so I doubt it.

The product will weather indoors. I have had it in my kitchen for 6months and the metal finish is starting to rust.

I dont think so. It is for design of  indoor kitchen.

Will this trash bin withstand weather and rain if kept outdoors

We just use the 13 gallon trash can liners and fold them in the back around the can. They tuck in and work great.

I purchased cheap garbage liners (from Target). The liners are rolled together tightly and packaged in a plastic bag. I don't remember what size I purchased and I threw away the package; I think they were for 8 or 10 gallon trash cans. As other reviewers recommended, I used a rubber band to hold the garbage liner in place.
