Not good if you have a dog or cat.
I ordered a 10 regular, which was my mistake. They were 2.5 inches long. I should have ordered 10 short. No fault of Columbia. The pants however, are a magnet for dog hair.

Got out of the yoga pants!
Thought it was time to give up the yoga pants. These are a great pant. Comfortable, breathable, and just the right weight.

Get them!!
Great fit and length. I'm 5'6, 165 lbs, and usually wear sizes 6 and 8. Purchased a size 6 in these pants; the strech allows them to fit great. Not snug AT ALL.

Slimming!
I agree these run a bit big. They are a nice, light fabric and the center stitching of the legs give a slimming look ❤️ The internal draw cord is stretchy material which is weird and creates a lot of cord to tuck in. The only pocket is too small for a cellphone, big enough for cards and cash and a key. I bought an 8 and a 10 and ended up keeping them both. The 8 was snug but relaxed after one wearing.

Comfy but not the most practical
I’m an archaeologist and spend a lot of time on the ground crouched, squatting, or hunched over. I love that these pants are stretchy and let me move freely, but they lose their shape and end up traveling down from my waist. I don’t want to have to worry about baring my bum while I’m trying to work. In these pants, though, I have to pause every few minutes to pull them back up. The drawstring really doesn’t do anything for me :/

Good looking hiking pants
comfortable pant, a bit large I would buy your normal size pants, I sized up due to comments & they are large but have a great draw string inside. Perfect for a hike, or casual dining.

Love
Omg I FINALLY found hiking pants I like. They fit and feel wonderful, AND dont look dorky. Im 5.7, athletic build, lean but muscular legs. I ordered a 6 and it fits, I can layer underneath comfortably. I actually went ahead and ordered a 4 for when I dont want to layer underneath. I usually just wear leggings while hiking, but these are comfy and strechy. I cant wait to try them out.

Really nice pants, but size down!
These are great pants. I would say they run a bit big, however. I am a pretty solid 10 but after reading reviews I decided to order both an 8 and 10. I tried on the 8’s first and didn’t even open the packaging of the size 10. I have to also tie the inner drawstring pretty tightly to make sure they stay up. Biggest “boohoo” for me is there is only one (zipper) pocket and it is tooooo small (lady pants be damned). Other than that, I really love these pants and they are perfect for being out on the disc golf course.

More pockets please!
Having been working in my pajamas for 2 years, I have come to loathe putting on fitted clothes, like my favorite old jeans. I wanted pants I could go out in public in, that were as comfortable, but didn't look as bad! I love the way these pants feel--zipper and snap but not tight. They bend and stretch with me and don't have any dreaded elastic with that drawstring. I bought one size too big but it worked out now that I moved to somewhere cold that needs a base layer. My only complaint is that there is only one tiny pocket on the front of the leg; it barely fits my ID & credit card much less my small-ish phone.
