My doctor recommended a humidifier for my allergies (living in socal, it's very dry here). After a lot of research I decided this was the best option as it has a cooling effect and the humidifier. Since using this my allergies, hair and skin have improved drastically. It is worth the price!

Couldn't go without it

I live in an apartment.  Work on the pipes was being done and for 3-4 days I had no heat.  The maintenance brought up a heating/cooling Dyson and like my Dyson vacuum it is a top notch, good looking appliance.  I looked up the various products online and decided o the purifier/humidifier.  So far so good.

Who knew?  Not me.

I bought this last year before Christmas time because we had a problem with our room feeling stuffy and dry from our heater. This machine is the best thing I bought! It keeps the air feeling clean and I noticed my skin even feels less dry from the heat due to the humidifier. My only issue is that it doesn't use the water quick enough, so I do have to change it, but I can see that after a few days- it does use alot of the water.

Had it for a year now and still loving it

We have a large bedroom and we use this to supplement. The purifier portion seems to reduce the amount of impurities by a significant margin. We only use it in our bedroom at night so I leave the fan on a little higher to turn the air over quickly. My wife notices a difference.

Sleeping Better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this Dyson for about one month now.  (humidifier/fan). Everything about the product is working and up to my standards including the features on this model rather than a newer model

Great Patent

The product does the job, humidifies and filters the air without leaving a mess like regular humidifiers, its pretty cool that when you set the fan and humidity controls to automatic and it senses bad air it will automatically run at higher fan speeds and gradually lower as the air quality gets better. Down side is the software response time between the remote control and the unit itself, for example I adjusted the air speed and wanted to adjust himidity control or show a different information in the screen, I'll have to wait about 2 seconds for it can take a different remote command and another possible issue is if you misplaced the remote then controlling the unit is impossible

Does the job but could do better

I love the self cleaning feature. I love dyson products and have 4 standing fans, 3 vacuums, and a blow dryer. But I honestly wake up super dry still and don't notice a difference in the humidity level. And I still use my other humidifier so it kinda defeats the whole purpose. Wish it worked better and I would buy 2 more!

…I would be great machine. But it's super sensitive and breakers every couple of months. The triangle exclamation message pops up and there is nothing you can do about it but take it to the service. Super inconvenient as there isn't one around my city. For that much money it should be indestructible!!!!

If it wouldn't be broken all the time….

I've had my Dyson Purifier Humidify + Cool Autoreact for a couple of months now (June 2022) and I have to say I'm quite disappointed with my purchase. The triangle exclamation message seems to be a persistent problem that randomly occurs regardless of whether the filter has been cleaned or not. I've troubleshot and read every possible forum online on how to correct this and it appears to be a critical issue with this particular device. Given the expensive price point for the device and Dyson's alleged reputation for product design, I have to say that this is a total failure for me.

It looks great, but does it work?

Broke down on the second day. Had to return it. Very low quality for very high price
