About this property

Worth The Climb Views!

This beautiful chalet is true to its name: Worth the Climb. In Chalet Village, atop the mountain, you will find this amazing cabin that offers spectacular views of downtown Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. Our one-bedroom chalet sits atop Ski Mountain next to Ober Gatlinburg.

The cabin features mountain views and a private setting, only 3.7 miles from Gatlinburg and 8 miles from Pigeon Forge. Access to the seasonal clubhouse of Chalet Village features pools, tennis courts, a gym, and more. Note you will drive through steep and windy roads to get here!

We are a family-owned business striving to ensure your experience is an idyllic getaway.
The first floor includes an entertainment room with an Air Hockey table, a foosball table, Smart TV, and a mini arcade. A full bathroom, Jacuzzi tub, and electric fireplace can also be enjoyed here. The lower level offers includes a large family room with a Smart TV, cable and internet, breakfast nook, fully stocked kitchen, and a beautifully decorated master bedroom with French doors. A full bath neighbors the master. Every room of the chalet has a view of the mountains! Relax on the back deck for bear watching, the lights of Gatlinburg, and the visits of birds, squirrels, and other animals. A hot tub is provided on the back deck for a relaxing night. A washer and dryer are also provided for your convenience.

We welcome your furry pets in our chalet with a $100 Pet fee.

We always recommend 4x4 drive during the Winter months in The Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin features paved roads all the way up and without any inclement weather any car should be fine but again, we recommend 4x4 wheel drive when visiting the area primarily in January and February.

We provide Keurig and traditional coffee maker.

We also ask that you do not leave food outside and please DO NOT feed the bears.

MUST be 21 years or older to book.

Amazing views and relaxing atmosphere
This cabin was just as described. It was inviting and very relaxing. It has amazing views with things to do without even leaving the property. It is also close to Gatlinburg where you can enjoy the many attractions. It was perfect and I was able to de-stress! We plan on coming back in the future!!

Beautiful balcony, but not for everyone.
We spent most evenings on the balcony which was always very pleasant and fun with the jacuzzi. Fans outside did not work but would have helped keep mosquitos away. Few considerations, kitchen is not fully stocked with pantry necessities only salt and pepper. We packed accordingly so it wasnt an issue. Lots of items were dusty and drinking glasses were dirty with fingerprints...Tatiana was very responsive and helpful, but a simple tv directions /guide to using the tv/remotes would help. Grill outside was not useful since it was in an area next to the garbages (attracting bears) and a huge wasp nest in the ground next to the front door. Finally, the drive up and down was very stressful. As a person who suffers from anxiety it was too much and we left a day early. Owner directions are accurate, but limited. Google gps is not always responsive in the area. One small missed insane turn and your traveling in the wrong direction with no room to turn around (single lane streets but go in both directions). My recommendation is a photo guided google maps direction pdf, this way I know what to look for when traveling in a new place with steep inclines and hidden drives. We are just not used to mountain driving. My kids loved the air hockey and Foosball, and over all the house was great.

Relaxing Retreat
Beautiful views and peaceful nights. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife right from the cabin. You will see bears, it was so thrilling and surreal to see! It is worth the climb! It was amazing to see the wide landscape/horizon and other cabins on the way up. The cabin had everything we wanted in our stay from air hockey, to the hot tub that sat on a privacy porch where we ate our meals as we stared into the mountains in the distance, and then a big cozy bed to sleep on after a busy day of adventuring. The cabin is 10 minutes to Gatlinburg that was very convenient as it was a one way shot down. The Ober mountain has different roads that can help you avoid driving through Gatlinburg (traffic) if traveling to pigeon forge. I recommend staying here!

I'm Tatiana, and I've been hosting my family's cabins since 2020. Our hosting journey began after a fire destroyed my Step-Dad's cabin in 2016. Instead of rebuilding, we opted to purchase a couple of smaller cabins in 2017, leading us to the opportunity of hosting guests in the beautiful Smoky Mountains.

With a background in customer service and a knack for connecting with people, hosting feels like a natural fit for me. I'm passionate about providing a comfortable and memorable experience for guests as they explore nature and create lasting memories in our cabins.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us, and I hope your time here is filled with wonderful moments. Feel free to reach out if you need anything during your stay.

Why they chose this property

The view the view the view!!! We have never seen a property with such amazing view. We had to buy it!! We were blessed to find this property where we can continue to offer our promise of a great getaway to our guests. We hope you love it as much as we do!!

What makes this property unique
