Ever since stepping into the spotlight at 16, English songstress Joss Stone has continually redefined her generation's take on soul music. The Grammy Award winner's unique, soaring vocals are the highlight of her shows, and her live concert sets often feature her cover of the White Stripes "Fell In Love With A Boy" along with her original hits. Influenced by legends Aretha Franklin and Dusty Springfield, Joss Stone became infatuated with soul music at an early age. Determined to follow in the footsteps of her idols, she kicked off her career with 2003's The Soul Sessions, achieving triple platinum status in the UK and gold certification by the RIAA -- a huge feat for the emerging singer. Whether she's singing alongside greats like Smokey Robinson and Blondie or participating in Mick Jagger's project Superheavy, Stone is a force to be reckoned with, spreading peace, love, and soul with her unbelievable performances. by Will on 3/22/24Chandler Center for the Arts - ChandlerI first saw Joss Stone about 14 years ago in Atlanta and was blown away by her stage presence and ability to connect with her audience. She was as amazing if not more seeing her this time. Unbelievably beautiful, she did a nice variety of her songs and her band was excellent. Her backup singers were stellar and Joss’ ability as a story teller was both insightful and entertaining. This was my son’s first concert and he really enjoyed it. Joss set the bar high. Thank you for a great evening and a memory I’ll never forget.

There's onsite parking, restaurants nearby within walking distance, and all the seats have good site lines. The concert itself was great. It's the first time I've seen Joss Stone, and although I've heard her music, I didn't know she was British. I loved hearing her tell the stories to introduce the songs. She's definitely on my TM favorite list now.

Very word she sings exudes the soulful bluesy style I love about her. She is also more beautiful in person than watching her on video. The Chandler Center for the Arts was a perfect venue for her.
