I like the blended wood and metal look. It's sturdy and nice looking. The top was tricky to place and fasten, I ended up tightening the cam locks and then carefully turning it upside down to do all the screws into the L tabs. It took me a smidge over 4 hours to build (55 yr old female).

Takes a bit of time to build, but well worth it

The Steel River desk is very nice and works well in my home office. Fun, but challenging, to assemble.

Very pleased

Shipping was fast. Overall the instructions and process to put the desk was straight forward. Drawers work good it's a great of size for what I needed. Lots of screws but that's to be expected. Watch you use the correct 1/2” screws. Thought I was short screws when I realized I'd use the wrong ones. Was easy to fix my mistakes. Great price on sale!

Sturdy and attractive desk.

The size fit well in our smaller den room. It looks great. It was relatively easy to assemble with a very solid construction. We are very pleased with the desk.

Size and appearance worked out well.

This item is very poorly made.  Where to start  missing a lot of hardware, particleboard was broken and cracked very easy when trying put screws in. Drawers was made to small for desk. About 1 1/2 to short to fit ( could not use drawers)  it's like tried to put two different size desk together. 29 pages of instructions.  
All I can say this was worst product I ever bought
