About

Kimberly Kelly on Tour

Unabashed country music singer and songwriter Kimberly Kelly has spent years steeped in the music of Texas dance halls. Her country music reverence and two-stepping style are on full display as she performs onstage, her voice powerful and emotive as she sings about small-town life, honky tonks and heartbreak.

Kelly's debut album, I'll Tell You What's Gonna Happen (via Show Dog Nashville), was released in July 2022. The album features some of country music's biggest songwriting superstars, including Bob DiPiero (Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, Faith Hill, Vince Gill), Troy Johnson (Keith Urban, The Chicks, Sara Evans, Montgomery Gentry) and Karyn Rochelle (LeAnn Rimes, Trisha Yearwood, Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan). The first single, a memory-stirring song called "Summers Like That," is a tribute to the laid-back summers of the past and songs like "Strawberry Wine," "Walkaway Joe," and "Maybe It Was Memphis."

Her old-school country sound will take you back to the "good ol' days" and simpler times. Get tickets to see Kimberly Kelly when she visits a city near you.

Kimberly Kelly Live in Concert

Kimberly Kelly is a native of Lorena, Texas. Her sister is country singer Kristen Kelly ("He Loves To Make Me Cry"). She followed Kristen to Nashville when she signed with Arista Records and worked as her backup singer for a time. A talented songwriter, she's co-written with several songwriting icons, including Lori McKenna, Terry McBride, Erin Enderlin, and Steve Wariner. She's married to Brett Tyler, an award-winning songwriter and producer.

In a final push for success after a decade of weekend gigs, full-time work as a speech therapist, and graduate school, she self-released an EP, Don't Blame It On Me, in 2018, and it made its way to Toby Keith. Keith signed Kelly to Show Dog Nashville (in partnership with Thirty Tigers) in 2021, and Kelly released I'll Tell You What's Gonna Happen in 2022. The inspiration for the album's name comes from a story her friend and mentor Billy Joe Shaver told about crashing one of Waylon Jennings' recording sessions.

Kimberly Kelly is an overnight success a decade in the making. Don't miss the opportunity to see this bright star shine.
