WatchFor the latest installment in Todd Snyder’s long-running collaboration with Timex, he went into the archives to create an iteration on Timex’s Navi, an homage to their original dive watches. The exclusive Utility Ranger is meant to evoke not just the sea but also the deep woods. Thoughtful details like a durable military olive dial and ballistic fabric strap, 100 meter water resistance, and robust construction ensure this piece will earn its place in your weekly rotation. The bezel is orange and second hand is blaze-orange and the 41mm case is gunmetal with an exhibition caseback. “I wanted to create a watch that was reminiscent of vintage field and diving watches. A watch that looked like it had been on its share of expeditions through the woods, down some rapids and into the sea,” says Todd.

This watch is really beautiful, and the choice of colors is fantastic. The olive and orange work with just about every neutral, and the orange will either be a dark orange or a reddish bronze, depending on the light. So in terms of looks, it is definitely 5 stars. I like wearing this watch.
I do have two complaints: at night, it's very hard to tell the time with this watch. The hands and indices don't glow very much at all, even if I wear it all day. And that's a shame: for a watch that's supposed to remind people of a coral reef, I feel like it would really benefit from a brighter blue-green glow.
The second complaint is that for whatever reason the watch was off time at one point, and I don't know why. It could have been my mistake, like maybe I didn't put the crown back in. But I don't think that's what happened. If it happens again I would want to return the watch.
Looks better in person than in the pictures! The way the light hits the indices and the orange bezel, while contrasting with the green is mesmerizing.
Great watch, quality build and beautiful dial and bezel. Only minor complaint is with the strap. It is a really nice color and material and does compliment the watch well, however it's just a bit thick so as a nato strap, it makes the wear a bit bulky.
Didn't need it.. had to have it... glad I bought it! Great construction and color scheme!
