About

Texas-based Memphis May Fire has become one of the hottest metal-core tickets around, with a unique blend of post-hardcore, Southern rock, and powerful live performances. Their rhythms are tight, they know how to shred, and lead singer Matty Mullins controls a crowd like no other -- he’ll have the audience moshing like crazy one minute, inspiring them with stories about the band overcoming adversity the next. In 2012, Memphis blew away crowds during their Main Stage set at the Vans Warped Tour, and immediately followed that up with a high-profile European tour with Of Mice & Men, an American tour with Asking Alexandria, and a victory lap on the 2013 Warped Tour. And in the middle of all that, they released the album Challenger, which debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 with the defiant and incredible song “Prove Me Right.”

It’s nothing new for the band, though. All the way back in 2009, the band’s very first album, Sleepwalking, generated to the popular single “Ghost In The Mirror,” which was featured on the Saw VI soundtrack, and earned the band recognition as one of Revolver Magazine’s Top 25 Under 25. Since then, they’ve released two more albums and toured the world, but they’re not done yet. In 2014, they’ll continue to push forward, not only releasing their fourth album, which Mullins describes as more mature and more orchestral, but they’ll also be playing more concert dates in the UK and beyond.

    Memphis Mayfire was amazing

by Huge One on 9/16/23The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Memphis Mayfire was amazing. Love how they don't resort to swearing at all during their show. Matty Mullins is maybe the best singer/growler I've ever seen. Atreyu surprised me... They're tight and have great sound.

Another awesome show put on by Memphis May Fire. These guys are so much fun to watch and always give you 100%. I drove 4 hours roundtrip to see them and would do it again. The State Theatre is one of those iconic venues that makes you feel like your home.

    by BlackWolf on 7/10/23

We had great time - great concert! We got to meet some of the members of Saul before the show, but it would have been great to have been able to get a meet & greet with Saul or MMF!

    Amazing

by Katie on 7/18/22Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens - Boston

Memphis May Fire puts on a hell of a show! I didn’t know a lot of their music and was there for a band that was touring with them, From Ashes to New, and ended up loving their music and their vibe. They were energetic, had amazing stage presence, and kept the crowd going straight through to the end. And one thing we don’t see enough of any more … they did a song with a a band member from FATN which is friggin amazing. Overall…this is a band you don’t want to sleep on. See them love if you get a chance. You won’t regret it.

BIG presence in a small venue

by JFabiano13 on 7/2/22Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens - Boston

Venue was small and intimate, while From Ashes to New & Memphis May Fire rocked like GIANTS, not holding anything back and putting on an amazing show for the fans. The opening band, Wolves at the Gate, put on a great performance and sounding good, rocking the small stage in Boston. Fans responded positively and you could feel the welcoming energy in the crowd. But the show really kicked into gear when FATN took the stage performing “Panic”, just as they opened with during their “Panic Tour”, they are just coming off of. FATN played their set list to perfection, fans getting the same great energetic performance from FATN as they gave headlining their own Panic Tour, truly an impressive performance. They bring such a big presence to every stage, giving the crowd 100% in every performance, it’s truly remarkable to see. Being in the crowd during their performance is almost electrifying. MMF came to stage with a tough act to follow and did not disappoint. Matty Mullins (lead singer for MMF) got the crowd to open up and “bounce” and did a great job of controlling the crowd all night. You could feel the energy coming off stage from MMF, electrifying the crowd from start to finish. Danny Case (lead singer for FATN) joined Matty Mullins (lead singer for MMF) and Memphis May Fire on stage to perform “Vices” (a MMF song) and the duo were completely in sync, the crowd loving every second of it. I would love to see more collaboration between the duo and I’m sure fans everywhere would agree. Overall, it was a very intimate and energetic show, giving fans two BIG name headliners in just one small venue. So small a venue, I bumped into Danny Case walking through the parking lot before the show. The amount of energy all the bands put into this small packed show, certainly have fans their money worth and more. I would absolutely go see this show again and look forward to seeing FATN at the Inkcarceration Music Festival in just 2 weeks… too bad MMF couldn’t join the festival, the duo certainly have great chemistry together.

Show was great Venue not so much

by Deb on 7/2/22Gramercy Theatre - New York

Show itself was great, sound was good & bands were on point. The venue itself is not disability friendly at all & not prepared for patrons with special needs, I love the venue but they need to step it up for the disabled.
