I took the lightest color, thinking it would be too light for me, but it turned out to blend perfectly after warming up and sitting on skin for a while, it seemed to oxidize slightly but in a good way, or rather blend nicely with your own skin. I plan to use it as concealer and it will definetly work ad that too, reccomend!
I love the cream foundation! have purchased this foundation, the powder foundation, the bamboo blur powder, and the 2nd skin foundation. I have also sampled the tinted moisturizer. In the 2nd skin foundation, shade 2 was just right and shade 1 was too light. In this cream foundation and the powder foundation, alpine rose is too light but crème and white peach look good. I found the alpine rose shade of cream foundation to be a bit lighter than the photo. Crème and white peach both look good for my light neutral-warm skin tone and the color does not change once you put it on. The cream foundation is the best formula of the ones I’ve tried, because it doesn’t look oily like second skin foundation can, it it isn’t drying like the bamboo blur can be, and it has better coverage than all the others. The coverage is good, buildable, and it blends well using a makeup sponge or brush over moisturized skin. Maybe add a small amount of powder to set. You can use a small amount of cream foundation and it looks light like a tinted moisturizer, or use more in areas and it will cover almost like a concealer. It’s so versatile. I also like the ingredients in this formula; they stood out to me as being even more simple, healthy and natural than other 100% Pure foundation formulas. This is the makeup I use when I want my makeup to look as perfect as possible. When I have less time or don’t want much makeup on, I’ll use a little of the powder foundation only.
It's not the greatest, but I use it because it's the only foundation they have that is still actually fruit pigmented. Both the water foundation and the 2nd skin now use Titanium Dioxide and other heavy metals as colorants now. Trying to phase out all my products with this company since I no longer align with their values and foundation is the last thing. So I will be using this until I find an alternative.
