The instructions for the Better Homes & Gardens Lana Modern Side Table with Faux Marble Top were so easy to read and to follow. I was able to successfully put this table together in a very short period of time! 
And, it looks great!!! 
One of the first things I noticed was how the faux marble table top is finished on the bottom of it, making it look real! 
The attention to detail and quality was also evident in the finish and construction of the legs! It is very stable on the floor and spills clean up nicely. 
I am thrilled with this table and am proud to have it in my living room. Solid, sturdy, utilitarian, beautiful, and... put together by me!

Solid, sturdy and easy to put together!

I have reviewed almost a dozen different products made for Better Homes and Gardens. All were home products and not once was I disappointed. Each one has a place in my home and I am grateful to have had the chance to review them, then make them my own. I am currently reviewing an Accent Table out of the Lana Modern Collection. This particular piece of furniture is a striking resemblance of some of the more expensive, high end accent tables. The difference can be found in the materials used and the price comparison.

The Better Homes and Gardens, Lana Modern Faux Marble Accent Table, is very attractive and can be quiet useful in any room in the home. The Faux marble top on this table was most likely made from a tile (or any other proper) surface. A special paint technique is then applied to that surface. This technique involves the use of a feather, to mimic the veins that appear in real marble. Then a sponge is used to blend the paint and this is how the marble look is accomplished. Unless you tell people that it's not real marble, I doubt it would be noticed.

When choosing this table, the base is what caught my eye and appealed to me the most. The base has four legs that are crisscrossed. I like things that look different and this table looks different. It could be used in a formal or causal setting. It sits flat and provides a sturdy and strong surface to place your valuables or your everyday essentials on. I chose the gold painted base which I think has the best look for my home. This table is just the right height to be used besides a chair, a couch, or a bed. It's not bulky or heavy, it just enough to fill up a small space that otherwise would be wasted.

I would recommend this affordable, useful, and up-to-date looking table to any of my family or friends.

BH&G,Lana Modern Faux Marble Table,useful & trendy

Very nice looking side table. It could be used in any room. Very easy assembly. The faux marble top is very pretty and will hold up to 50 pounds! The base is a matte finish gold and is sturdy metal. It has 4 levelers on each leg that are adjustable to make sure the table is steady. Would make a beautiful side table on a covered porch or patio. I love it.

Elegance is this table

I really love this table more than I thought I would. I was pleasantly surprised at well it accents my decor. The faux marble looks great. I have a real marble top plant stand and they look great together. The faux marble top is attractive and easy to wipe clean. I replaced my glass top end table with this table and I wish I got this a long time ago. The legs to this table are strong, well made and look great. Best of all they are easy to clean. No nooks and crevices where dust can accumulate. I have three long hair Shih Tzu and need more attractive modern furniture like this table that is easy to care for. I need another for my guest room. It is the perfect size to fit a lamp, alarm, books or magazines, a laptop or a cellphone. I also prefer the round shape to the square for style and practicality. The table complements my decor without losing essential space. It was easy to set up. I did it alone, no tools needed other than the small wrench included with the screws. I put it together in 8 minutes following the easy step by step instructions. Each piece was marked with small round letter label and it was easy to remove the labels once I finished putting it together. It looks great and is very useful. I recommend it and will definitely get another. I love it.

Love this table!

I received this table from the Spark Reviewer Program for free in exchange for an honest review. The Better Homes & Garden Lana Modern side table w/ faux marble top is beautiful and very sturdy. The cross style base looks awesome and adds to the durability of the table. I was concerned that the gold steel base was going to look low quality but as you can see in the image I'm attaching it is not it has a nice finish. This is definitely an eye catching piece I especially love that the table top is 20-inches wide so it's useful unlike other small side tables I've seen that will probably only hold your phone. With this size you can easily put it next to your bed with a small plant, book, and your phone or just a magazine and your morning coffee without the table looking crowded or cluttered. The table makes a big difference while occupying a little amount of space.

Great little table for Any Room

I received from the spark reviewer program this Better Homes and Gardens Lana Modern side table with Faus Marble Top. It has a hand painted gold steel base. Its great to use as a side table in any room. The sturdy base supports the 20 inch wide circular table top that gives you enough space to hold anything you want. As for now I am going to use it to hold some of my plants. It is 20 inch's wide by 20 inch's deep by 22 inch's high. It was very easy to put together. Because I have arthritis I found it easiest to put it on my couch to put together. It is part of the Better Homes and Gardens Lana Modern collection so you could add more pieces for an all out decorative look. Any one who has seen it really like it and where pleased to find out you can get it and others at Walmart

Very nice Side Table

This cute table could go almost anywhere. Basically a modern design, easy to put together. It took my teenage grandson 15 minutes. Probably quicker if he had read the directions. It is versatile enough to go in any room., with a modern style. Seriously reminds me of the ‘70's, but retro is in. Side table, night table, plant table, kids room,etc. The marble isn't very realistic looking, but it will be mostly covered up anyway no matter where I use it. I probably will be using it in a special corner for some plants in my sunroom where I can enjoy it. The top is much larger than I thought and will hold quite a few things. A little bit of decor along with the plants will be interesting. Maybe even a little fairy garden or gnomes.Lots of possibilities. I don't believe I will be using it my main room however. This was carefully packed.

Better Homes & Gardens Lana Modern Side Table with Faux Marble Top.
I got my new side table a month ago, and we are happy with it.
Looks modern and matches out living room perfectly, it is very well made, with excellent materials and finishes. 
The legs are made from strong metal, with a gold finish. 
The top is made from wood with a solid cover that imitate a marble stone.
We have been using it as a side table in the living room where the TV is, we also use it to put the remote controls, that makes it hard for the table, specially having kid in the house. 
The only detail, I didn't like, is that the finish of the table is mate, for a marble table should be a shine finish. It should have a epoxy finish on top, that will makes it beautiful and very strong .

Great looking, but could be better.

This is a review for a small round table
It comes well packaged, it is easy to assemble, it brings everything necessary to put together, a person can do it in 15 minutes.
the top is marble imitation, it is opaque or mate it does not have the shine of the marble, the legs are soft bronze color.
The design is rather modern, it is not very high or very low so it can be adjusted to any space.
It can be used for the interior or for a terrace that is covered, I do not think it is for a terrace in the open since the water and the sun will damage it.
It can be a good gift for a couple of newlyweds, sure they will find a place to place it, or for a friend or family member where a small detail can make a difference in the decoration of a room.

Small round table a detail that makes a difference

This table receives a 1 rating due to the metal holes in parts B and C not lining up - they are drill about 1/4" of an inch off. In order to assemble this table, I would have to redrill the holes in the parts C to match with part B - both are metal.

Assembly: I could not assemble the table. The instructions were there and all the parts were present. However, the drill holes did not match up. I could not screw in the bolt and washer into the C legs because the holes were drill about 1/4" off. See picture. 

Assembly requires a hex bolt screw that is provided. I was at 10 minutes 47 seconds into assembly when I gave up because the metal holes did not match. If they would have matched, assembly would have taken @ 25 minutes. Easy enough for one person. 

Tabletop is a laminate covered particle board. The laminate marbling is a white base color with varying hues of grey lines for the marbling effect. 

Metal base is, what really seems to be, hand-painted, muted gold finish with some black antiquing brush strokes. 

Base is supposed to make into an X which would make a solid, not wobbly foundation. 
Base supports a 20" in diameter circular top. 

The 20" top is large enough and strong enough to totally hold plates, a lamp, mugs, as well as remote controls. The base and the top all feel very smooth.
Because the top is laminate, no issues with marking from hot or cold drinks.

This table style is like a chameleon. The coloring and design adjusts easily to fit into minimalist, modern, traditional, sea-shore beach, and even farm-house styles.
