I received this Blackstone Signalure 12 Basting Cover for Steaming and Melting from the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program to use and review.This is a very nice Product. It is very well made. The hanle is easy to hold onto. It works perfect to melt cheese on burgers. Steaming vegetables is easy with basting cover. 12 in across and Stainless Stee so its gonna last. Great Basting Cover

What a great basting cover. This cover by Blackstone is made of durable stainless steel. 12" round dome makes it perfect for our family of four. This Basting Cover is under griddle accessories, however I used on a gas grill and in the kitchen. On the grill I used to melt cheese on the hamburgers. Worked quickly and perfectly! In the kitchen I have used on skillet to steam up some veggies. Fit ontop my 12" pan without letting any air/steam escape leaving perfectly steamed tasty veggies. Using both ways the dome cover worked great. The Heat resistant handle worked perfectly. I like that the handle has an area of heat resistant material around the bottom of it. When you grab your fingers won't hit the hot dome. Added bonus, I used the cover to keep food warm on the platter. This cover is dishwasher safe!! Fits perfectly in my dishwasher for an easy clean up. 
Would recommend for small cooking gatherings.

Great Basting Cover!

I got this Blackstone Signature 12 inch basting cover for a review.
I was planning on buying one but this worked out perfect. 
It will be great for melring cheese , steaming veggies and steaming fish.
I like that it has the stay cool handle too. Like all Blackstone products
its well made.

Good about the item - using screw to secure the handle and the way to secure the handle is the small knob at each corner, so that it would not move even the screw is a bit loosen. This will be long lasting - just change the screw if the screw broke. Great design.

The cover has a good weight on it. A heavy item for this 12 inch cover.

Very solid cover.

If you are looking for a basting cover I recommend this Blackstone 12 inch round cover. It covers a lot of space and makes a world of difference in the flavor of your food. No more dried, chard, or flavorless meals. This basting/ steaming lid covers four large burgers with ease to melt the cheese. It covers an enormous amount of vegetables to steam. The dome is high enough so you know whatever you put under it will not touch the lid and either stick (like cheese) or get smashed together. I really love the cool touch handle on the center of the lid, it makes for safer cooking and fewer burns. I have used this in the house on my stove as well over a frypan that doesn't come with a fitted lid to help with grease slatter and it worked great in that situation, I had a whole lot less mess to clean in the end. I have also used it as a warmer cover after cooking a roast and again it worked great. I have used it several times and washed it each time with ease. No rust or discoloration. The only thing that did show concern was around the lid there is a little dip that does catch water/steam when it was on my fry pan which I didn't notice till I lifted it and tilted it. The water ran out and could be hot depending on how long it was on the pan. Now that I have experienced this I am more cautious.

This high quality 12 inch Round Basting Cover by Blackstone Signature is made of durable stainless steel and is a very useful accessory for anyone like me who loves to barbecue and cook. The large size is perfect for on the grill and griddle, it helps cook food very evenly, and is great to steam vegetables or just melt cheese over your hamburger patties! This basting cover protects me from spatters and prevents messes, it contains the heat underneath to easily cook vegetables and melt cheese to perfection, while protecting food items from drying out. I also love that this basting cover fits perfectly on my large skillet in my kitchen, so I can use it to steam and melt cheese indoors as well. The handle is especially great, because it is comfortable to hold and always stays cool to the touch. I would definitely recommend this excellent basting cover!

Excellent quality, durable, with stay cool handle!

Great quality, made of a durable stainless steel. Thus basting dome can be used for so many different things, on a grill, griddle, or even in the kitchen the uses are never ending. Made delicious cabbage steaks, usibg the dome helped cook all the way through! SUPER easy cleanup, can go right in the dishwasher. The handle is perfect, easy to grab without burning yourself. This is a great high quality product.

Great quality

I primarily use the Blackstone Signature 12 Round Basting Cover for melting cheese on hamburgers. At times it is used for steaming vegetables on a grill. It works great for keeping heat on a covered object (hamburgers or vegetables) when frequently opening and closing the grill. The basting cover is heavy duty and very solid. The heat resistant handle is incredibly useful and convenient. As for cleanup, the basting cover cleans up easily and quickly. It can be washed by hand or placed in the top rack of a dishwasher. For the avid griller or cook, this is a great addition to a cooking tool collection. I highly recommend this basting cover.

A Great Basting Cover

Last weekend we were able to get the grill going
and we grilled mushroom/cheese burgers. This
Steamer Cover is very strong and did a fantastic 
job melting everything together. Can't wait as the 
weather gets warmer to be able to use Cover 
with other recipes/dishes. I would recommend 
the SteamCover for indoor if you have a 
commercial grill and or outside grill. I loved the 
round handle along withthe even bottom sitting 
flush to the grill no wobbling.

Nice Strong Steaming/Melting Cover

The Blackstone Signature 12 Round Basting cover for steaming and melting did its job as far as steaming goes. We marinated mushrooms, red peppers, and zucchini and placed them on a grilling mat with the Blackstone cover on them. They turned out delicious and perfectly cooked/steamed. The size of the cover was large enough to have a good size portion to serve a family. The only negative I have to say about the Blackstone cover is it's claim that the handle on top is heat resistant. It gets very hot... we had to use a pot holder to pick it up. 
Otherwise the Blackstone cover is a great addition to our grilling tools.
