Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid, hotel in Lake Placid

This Lake Placid hotel offers free WiFi, and guest rooms are equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. Lake Placid Olympic Sports Complex is 7.8 mi away.

this was a great location for my daughters basketball team, large lobby with lots of seating to hang out at night, outdoor seating area also with firepit, playground and lake right across the street and a walkway up to Main Street for eating and shopping right around the corner. Pool area was clean and towels well stocked. Only complaint was that only 1 of the 2 elevators was working due to maintenance so it took a while to wait for that but would definately stay here again. Ozzy at the front deask was so friendly and accomodating!

I went Sunday to Thursday in mid December, but it seems like "season" doesn't start in Lake Placid until Christmas day. A lot of attractions and restaurants are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday and it was raining the only day the speed skating oval was open for me, so I had bad luck and would plan better next time. I didn't get to do bobsled experience and other things from the legacy site and was even turned away from the Gondola at whiteface as a sight seer. So just make sure the things you want to do will be open when you go.

Lake Placid is an absolutely beautiful little town. Everything is within walking distance and there is so much to see and do. It’s pricey but there are so many beautiful little shops and places to eat. Walk the lake or climb a mountain, you’ll keep busy for days.

The hotel was great, very clean, beds comfy, great breakfasts! Staff was friendly and personable. Nice keurig coffee machine in room, so you can bring your own k cups if you want. They only have Green Mountain brand. They also have decaf. Location was the best! Not very far from anything! Loved the top of Whiteface Mountain, can access by elevator or hiking. Was a continuous fragrance of pine, reminded me of Christmas. While at the ski jumps we had a chance to see some of the 6-14 year olds practice. That was great! We had a very good meal at Black Bear Restaurant! Getting around town is very easy. All in all a great place to stay for a few days.

we participated in the Olympic venues passport choice and had a wonderful time exploring and partaking at each venue. the food at every restaurant was great, we liked the creperie and black bear restaurants. driving around was easy. We did mini golf, the visitors cruise on lake placid, had a manicure, made a bead bracelet, and browsed the shops. We also went to High falls gorge. the scenery in the area cannot be beat, the trees, mountains, and lakes are awe inspiring. i think that was my favorite part.

Nothing in particular. Except it is located close to Lake Placid where I was assisting hikers on the NtP trail. I only stayed two of the seven days I reserved and checked out. Moved to the Bluebird hotel for the next five days. The carriage house was far less attractive than it appears on their website. The pool pictured was not available and looked like it had not been used in years. Hoping to get a refund from “Bookings” as the motel says they are responsible.

Very nice, clean, modern and affordable rooms close to Lake placid town center and 20 min by car to Whiteface mountain ski resort. Very communicative staff. Kitchenette including both a coffee brewer and coffee machine with complimentary capsules, a toaster, microwave and fridge. Perfect for us to make breakfast in the morning. We booked a room with a king size bed which was very comfortable.

The room was very spacious and allowed us to have space to play games and walk around the bed. The bed was extremely comfortable and air conditioning worked better than any hotel we've stayed at before. The location is right on Main Street within walking distance of shopping, eating and attractions. Staff was courteous and helpful and the private beach gives a beautiful view of the lake.

The hotel setting is very rustic looking. Nice ambience music is very calming as you come into the building hallway. Coffee and Tea is available Lots of lounging space where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. Loved the shampoo, body wash, lotion collection as the smell feels like you just came out from the spa. Hotel staff at Bluebird were all welcoming and friendly.

Beautiful hotel, with rustic and comfortable shared areas. Rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. Nice, cold AC and plenty of hot water. Lobby and breakfast area really gave the "Adirondack" feel, nice outdoor decks and chairs. Great location right at the foot of Main Street a d right across the street from Olympic museum, ice rink and speed skating oval. Y

It is a cute lodge kind of hotel located on the lake. They have boats on their site that we could use whenever we wanted to. It is located at walking distances from the market. The market has small stores, restaurants, a movie theater and coffee shops by the lake. So all in all, we had a nice getaway at this place.

the bunk beds were very convenient, and the warm bed coverings, the communal gas fireplace, fairly quiet only noise was the road in front of the lodge. The individual quaint cottages, very quiet could not hear any sound from the outside except the rain falling on the roof which was fine.

We have been coming to Devlin's for years starting before they made massive renovations. The hotel's strongest points are a) its location (you can walk everywhere in Lake Placid) and the size of the rooms, especially the high ceilings. The swimming pool is also noteworthy.
