Pickin’ All Summer Long


The Full Moon Pickin’ Party bluegrass music series has been a beloved Nashville tradition for over 25 years, attracting families and friends from all over to hear bluegrass under the stars in Percy Warner Park. With events running from May to September, you can enjoy live bluegrass, local food trucks, cold brews, and more, all summer long!

Proceeds from Full Moon Pickin’ Parties benefit Friends of Warner Parks, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to preserve and protect Percy and Edwin Warner Parks.

Frequently asked questions

Can I purchase tickets in person?

Tickets will be available at the gate starting at 5:30 pm on the day of the event. We recommend purchasing tickets online ahead of time in case the event sells out.

What happens if it is raining?

Pickin' Parties are held rain or shine, but cancellations may occur in the event of severe weather. For cancellation updates, check the Friends of Warner Parks Facebook and Instagram, or call 615.370.8053.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is a free parking lot in the grass at the Equestrian Center. No overnight parking is allowed. Vehicles left overnight will be towed at the owner's expense. Accessible parking is available– follow signs as you turn into the event.

What can I bring into the event?

You may bring in your own food, snacks, blankets, lawn chairs, and non-alcoholic beverages. Outside alcohol, glass bottles or containers of any kind, and large coolers (over 16 quarts) are prohibited. Bags and instrument cases are subject to search.

Are there refreshments available at the event?

Food will be available for purchase from local food trucks. Water, soft drinks, and up to 3 beers or seltzers (21+) are included with admission (Available while supplies last. No discount ticket for those not drinking).
