The Mid-Century Modern Desk is part of our Mid-Century Modern Collection — all handcrafted in our FSC®-certified Los Angeles woodshop. Made with responsibly sourced, solid walnut or maple wood, the desk features two or three plywood drawers with angled fronts — ideal for storing your computer, phone, pens, and other accessories. Like the matching Mid-Century Modern Bed Frame, Dresser, and Nightstand, mid-century design inspires this stunning and functional piece, with clean, simple lines, soft-close drawers, angular legs, and a classic charm that will elevate any room.
We craft our Mid-Century Modern Desk with solid walnut or maple wood. Both are resilient and long-lasting hardwoods — an ideal choice for furniture. And the woods' beautiful, natural patinas add to their exceptional appeal. We believe in letting the rich character of the wood speak for itself. This way, every piece is original, with slight variations that add to their charm.

Feel better knowing your nightstand is assembled with Titebond® wood glues and ECOS® wood stains, so the natural wood character shines through.

Our Mid-Century Modern Desk is handmade in our FSC® (C156318) certified facility in Los Angeles. The 48" desk will ship via FedEx and the 60" desk will ship via Doorstep Delivery. In-home delivery and setup are optional within the continental United States only. Furniture is not currently available to ship to Alaska and Hawaii. In-home setup does not include hauling away your old furniture. Our shipping provider will contact you directly to schedule your delivery. At this time, furniture and mattress and/or bedding orders can not be coordinated to arrive at the same time.
We construct our dresser with solid walnut or maple wood. Walnut and maple are more sustainable timber choices because of their abundance and shorter lifespan. Both are durable, long-lasting hardwoods — an ideal choice for furniture. Note: The walnut build showcases the natural depth and unique grain patterns of the timber. Walnut is known for its complex colors, durability, and strength, but does feature some variation in wood tone and color. Not sure what finish you want? Order a wood sample.
We do not use traditional lacquers or varnishes, which typically contain harsh chemicals that can cause headaches, nausea, and respiratory issues. Instead, our natural finish uses a zero-VOC ECOS® wood stain from Belgium. It's non-toxic and odor-free and conforms to CDPH 01350 (VOC emissions test taken at 11, 12, & 14 days for classroom and office use), as well ASTMD-4236, specifically concerning oral toxicity, skin irritation, and respiratory effects.
Our assembly utilizes Titebond® wood glues, which are safe and produce no harmful fumes. They meet the requirements of ASTM D4236 for safe use with arts and crafts and have both been approved for indirect food contact.
We operate an FSC®-certified woodshop — in a facility completely separate from our mattress factory, in Los Angeles — which produces wood dust. Read California's required Proposition 65 warning for wood dust.
Wood bed frames, upholstered headboards, chairs, and furniture can be returned within 30 days. A restocking fee applies to all returnable furniture, but it is waived for exchanges of equal or greater value. Shipping fees and optional in-home setup services are non-refundable. Please review our return policy. Our 10-year product warranty covers defects in workmanship. Please note that natural wood products may display blemishes, knots, or other imperfections as a testament to their age, unique character, and distinctive beauty.
