As a senior, with a slower swing speed, the lower compression Soft Response balls have given me added distance, especially with my irons, without a loss of feel and touch around the greens.

As I get older (76) I am always looking for an extra yard or two.  My swing speed isn't what it used to be, so these low compression balls have added yardage as evidenced in club selection for distances changing on almost every shot.  Noticing extra yards off the tee as well. It's my new favorite golf ball.

EXTRA YARDS FOR AGIN GOLFERS

Great ball for the money. Carries well, nice feel around the greens and I prefer a softer cover and fell for putting and this ball delivers. Played one round with the same ball, had numerous saves and 3 birds, so I like it.

I like the softness around and on the greens

I'm 81 and have been playing only 7 years.  In good shape but my swing speed is not "blazing" by any stretch.  So, I need a low compression ball.  Been using Callaway SuperSoft balls.  The Soft Response ball with a 30 core compression and overall 50 compression, is slightly "harder" than the SuperSoft ball at 38, but the 3-ply construction (vs 2-ply with the SS) makes a lot of difference in my short game.

Great ball for slow swing speed seniors!

Very similar to my normal ball, Callaway Super soft but might be a slight bit better around the greens since it's a 3 piece ball instead of 2, but maybe not as durable cover? Overall if you like soft feel balls it's a good option .

Solid soft feel ball

Taylormade's Soft Response ball is a great ball. For me, this ball works great on certain course due to the low compression, high flight and low spin. The soft feel is great off the face, but this ball is intended for a slower swing speeds.

Soft as they come

I am a 60+ woman golfer of about 3 years. I was looking for a softer ball for better distance and forgiveness. These soft response balls are the best! When you hit them, I describe it “like hitting butter!” Smooth, light, yet they still perform. I would recommend these!

Best Soft Golfballs ever!!

I played with the balls this weekend & I enjoyed the feel & sound.  I can see the extra distance for me hitting a soft ball compared to hard cover.

Love The Feel

Not for my swing speed(98), lost approximately 20 yards. Felt great off the driver, but not my normal distance.

Supersoft

I appreciated the accuracy of the ball more than its ability to stop on the green.  I got my average distance on drives, but my irons often came up short...I will give them another go and see if my play improves with my adjustments.

Average but may certainly work out for me.

Felt terrible off club face and didn't feel very good off of putter either.
