I love this sleeping bag! It is so soft and cozy! I know it will feel good on cold nights, especially with all the insulation in it. This one is weighted with beads which help to comfort and make you feel secure. It has a sleeve for standard size pillows on top too. It comes with a carry bag to help transport it. Will be good for camping as well as sleepovers and other occasions where extra sleeping areas are needed.

A good value

It is heavier than a normal sleeping bag. I got it for my wife who likes sleeping with a weighted blanket. But she hasn't used it yet.

Weighted Sleeping Bag

I ordered the Ozark Trail 40F Cool Weather Weighted Sleeping Bag because I needed a new sleeping bag and the weighted feature caught my attention. I have heard good things about sleeping with weighted blankets so I thought I would give this weighted sleeping bag a try. I love it. Note that this sleeping bag is for cool weather down to 40 degrees Fahrenheit and not for cold weather. I found the sleeping bag to be very warm and comfortable. I really like the pillow sleeve it has, too, that fits standard size pillows. This sleeping bag measures 95” x 34” which I found to be very roomy. It is made with quilted areas to keep the weight beads and insulation evenly distributed which I think was a great design idea. It is also a rectangle shape to provide more leg room. I got the Navy and Gray design which I really like. The colors themselves make you want to snuggle up in it. Overall, I am very pleased with the comfort, design, and warmth of this weighted sleeping bag and I would recommend it for cool temperatures.

My New Favorite Sleeping Bag

The weighted aspect makes it cozy. It's not really for cold weather camping. Good for hotels or sleepovers.

Great!

This Ozark Trail weighted sleeping bag is rated for 40 degree temps. The material and stitches are well made, the weighted feature is very calming. I expect this bag to hold up for years. It arrived nicely packaged as well.

Durable and comfortable

Obviously camping equipment is typically designed to be lightweight, but my wife really enjoys her weighted blanket - so this is worth the extra weight.  For those who drive to go camping (as opposed to hiking to a spot), it's a nice option to have a bit of weighting built into the sleeping bag (7 pounds isn't as much as she'd like, but it's much better than nothing).  The improvements I would suggest on this sort of niche product would be to oversize it a little, and weight it to at least 12-15 pounds.

A really nice concept

This is heavy. Which in & of itself isn't a problem, but there are 
No straps on a sleeping bag itself to help keep it wound up 
while you're trying to get it back in its case, which is extremely 
tight, so you're trying to force it to stay together while trying 
to force it into the bag that is extremely tight, so that's the 
only time that this heaviness becomes a problem. So it took 
two of us to get it in its sack, the sack is that tight and it doesn't 
have the strapping that most sleeping bags have at the 
bottom to tie it up when you roll it up that's the only problem 
I see with this.

I'm surprised how big it is! It seems like good quality material. I'm giving it 4 stars because it does seem a bit thin for being advertised for colder weather. We have notbused it yet, but will soon.uave not used it yet

Surprised

I'm 5' 8" about 175lbs and I feel like I fit like a glove in this sleeping bag. I like the weighted feature and how easy it is toto roll up this bag and clean it. The features I like are; the zipper can be held in place by using velcro strap, your can unzip the sleeping bag entirely to convert into a mat to sit on, built in pillow case, and how it keeps me warm and not too hot. 
 Cons: I feel a little too snug when I try to turn and sleep on my side, I can only spread my feet shoulders width, basket bend my knee without feeling more constricted, if I wear no show socks while inside the bag they will slide off when I move.

Super comfy

That sleeping bag wasn't worth $1!!! Had I realized at the time I paid that much for it I would have returned it! It wasn't stitched in half the bag, only half the zipper was sewn on and on the wrong edge. I seriously thought it was a joke!!! I will no longer buy any hunting or camping supplies from Wal Mart.
