Absolutely love the speed and all the options I have to run my laser cutter/engraver. The only thing I dislike is the fingerprint reader to unlock it, but I just turned it off and it's fine.

I am NOT good with a computer and needed something for scheduling, bills, and other various family things. It's been easy to re-learn how to use a computer. but definitely a great value and purchase.

Great beginners laptop and value for the money

This laptop boots up very quickly, in about 9 seconds.  My Wife uses it for work and when IT loaded up Office he commented on how fast it was.  So far very happy!

This thing is perfect from the inside out. It's got a great speed. Great design, modern software and very easy use. even the touch screen is amazing! still, after a year and two short drops later 😜

If You've been researching the best cheap laptop..

I am a graduate student and depend on my laptop. This is the BEST LAPTOP EVER!!! Lots of memory, fast, dependable, and awesome. I got a great deal on my laptop, but it ranks up there with $700-$800 laptop easily. It is my second Gateway, I also have a 11.5 inch convertible. They both run Windows 11 and are compatible with each other and every device I have tried to connect to with the exception of my moto g cell phone. I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone.

Honestly, I’m disappointed in this product. The Max duration of the battery is 4 hours while in the description of the product it says that the battery might last up to 10 hours. Plus, the touchpad stops working one week after I received the laptop. I sent many emails to Gateway customers help center about the issue, but no answer so far.
