An excellently located, short stay, hotel on the town square, and only a short walk from a nearby public car park. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms well cleaned. There was a good choice of differing prepared breakfasts. Request for rooms at the back of the hotel arranged.

Breda is a peaceful, wonderful place where you can relax, take long walks in the nature, along the river, in the woods, on the fields. There are very good restaurants and pubs in Breda, friendly people everywhere. Nothing and nobody disturbs you ever! It is the right place to rethink your entire life and put everything in a new light! I strongly recommend Breda as a starting point for those who want to know Netherlands!

We visited close friends, so it was a holiday trip but not for sight- seeing. Breda itself has not much to offer, it is a mid-size town with a pedestrian zone in the center but no real highlights. Apart from the usual shops there are some nice restaurants and bars, but you have to know them. Compared to Amsterdam f.e. it lacks all the tourist attraction, so no canals or coffee shops. a bit plain, typical dutch.

Nice pups and restaurants.
Nice pups and restaurants. Easy shopping, good quality shops.
Rent a hotel in the centre or rent a car. No trams in the city, like Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Hotels in the city can be expensive, just because they are in the city. But not necessarily good.

It has a very small cozy city center but, depending on what you like, it has enough entertainment.
I took the tour in the cathedral and went up to the tower. Walked around the city center, went to the park, stond on the "Hoge Brug"... You can visit the begijnenhof and go to a couple of more museums. Also the Natural park De Biesbosch is 30km from Breda.

A well located attractive town with good access to major routes and a fabulous train station with regular connections to other towns such as Rotterdam and Utrecht. Breda has a great range of upmarket chain stores and independent shops.
Breakfast was fine and lovely prepared in a picnic hamper :) the situation altogether is rather private, so one doesn't feel like in a hotel. For dogs the environment is more than ok, they could run on the property together with the owners dogs (even a basin to swim is there).
The house is easy to approach (not far away from a highway but still quiet) and a bit outside of town. A Chinese restaurant by the way is in walking distance.
Pet-friendly was a must for me, as I was taking my dog to see a neurologist 4 hours away from home. The appointment was early in the morning, so I needed to come up the night before. This hotel was the closest pet-friendly hotel to the vet clinic. There was an extra fee for her (I am never sure why that should be, but oh well!). The staff was very welcoming. WiFi was good and the room was clean, so all in all, it was a pleasant stay.
A very nice and clean hotel with all the facilities you could desire. A great pool with sauna and steam room, a gym and a large dinning room and bar mean the hotel is a great stay for any visit to Breda or the surrounding area.
The staff were very friendly and quick to help replace a faulty part with the bath within our room to ensure we were able to enjoy all of the facilities. We would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.
they dont have a toilet brush and i heard its the managers will but personally felt it isnt a good idea because its not hygienic. After you visit the wc you cant clean the wc.
They dont also have a mini fridge for your drinks which is also disturbing. Afteral they stay was nice, good personal and nearby the centrum
Fred (the host) was very friendly and accommodating. Good vibes, flexible and helpful with whatever we needed. The room was surprisingly even better looking (and bigger!) than we expected which was a huge plus. Very nice, classy and safe neighborhood and a walking distance to anything you need in Breda.
The location was fabulous especially since I was traveling by train, it's very close, and at the same time in the center of Breda. The people were so nice, I especially enjoyed La Manager, I think that's who she was, she ran the hotel, and I really liked her.
Very helpful staff, excellent bed and breakfast. Nice hotel if you are travelling by car, and need an overnight stay not far from the motorway. But if you are looking to visit Breda city centre, there are better options. But overall, good value for money.
The hotel is situated in the very center of Breda, but is very quiet. The rooms are well equipped, no remarks. The breakfast was well prepared in a cosy atmosphere. The reception team was extremely friendly with a great sense of humor.
The hotel is in the small cute town of Breda from where you can easily reach famous windmills of Kinderdijk , Keukenhof and Gauda. The hotel is just near the highway , there are bus and train nearby
The team in the Hotel were all very friendly, the room was really nice, the bed was very comfortable and perfectly positioned after a long train journey to relax and wind down.
Keen staff and welcoming ambience, Very interesting to stay at a hotel that was part of a college. The building had been transformed in a most attractive way.
I liked staying in a hotel where the staff is learning the trade - they are generally young and inexperienced but they tried very hard and were very friendly
It is conveniently located, near shopping streets and restaurants. Breakfast is good, the hotel was comfortable, nothing to dislike. Breda is a nice city.
