I bought the inexpensive slippers, washcloths, and sleep masks from IKEA added some travel size soaps for my visiting parents. It was a nice surprise that they were excited to take when they left. My mom uses it now in her pantry for onions and is ordering a few more for the pantry, gardening, and to use instead of gift bags. I’m going to do the same for gifts!

It's a great size for storing toiletries, or desk sundries, or a craft project. So far it's been holding up to heavy shampoo or bubble bath bottles, and kids dropping it on the floor. The drainage holes landed this basket in our bathroom to hold bath toys. I'm getting one for each child to carry their personal "stuff" around, and one for each bathroom to hold toilet paper roll and washcloth type of stuff that likes to drift around.

Pantry using, onions, and potatoes. Getting items out of ugly boxes helps to keep a visual count.
Cleaning. I use it for cleaning out the shower and gathering wet items to clean and then put back. It makes for a faster clean.
Under sink storage. The all-around holes keep items dry with a good air flow. Keep in mind the holes are on the bottom also.
Great for outdoor use. Gathering veggies or herbs or just general clean up by a pool. All the holes again keeps items dryer.
