LikedThe bungalow was much better than the room. The beach is clean and great for a swim. I liked the plants/garden between bungalows and their terraces. Otherwise they offer affordable massages and the cost per night was also fine.

DislikedVery old resort that needs a renovation… I’ve been there with my 1.5 year old son and realized how much danger there was. The pool wasn’t clean, nobody cared about taking back the plates and drinks that people left. The mats on the sunchair are at least 30 years old and so is a lot in the rooms, especially bathrooms. The location is hard to reach without car/scooter and the people are making big business bringing you places. The food in the restaurant wasn’t too great.

LikedI chose to book here because I had an early morning ferry and it was a great price & a super close walk to the dock. Although the hotel is a bit out of the way from the busy side of the island (east) it is a nice getaway. I felt safe as a solo female traveler here. The breakfast was good and the beach beautiful. I had a friend visit at night with no problem, I read on other reviews that some places are weird about that. Pictured is Tong. He speaks 7 languages and loves bacon. He and his pals are a wonderful addition to the place!

DislikedGet to the beach early to reserve a chair or you might be out of luck as there aren’t that many.

LikedLocation is good right at the beach and close to pier. Nearby many restaurants, prices starting from 120 baht/meal. Wifi sometimes disconnected or poor. Breakfast avarage but with seaview.
