Verilux - HappyLight Lucent UV-Free LED Light Therapy Lamp, 35 sq in Lens Size - White

When Oklahoma City decided to do an impersonation of Seattle I needed something to help me beyond a cuppa coffe in the morning. My therapist reccomended this light and it really helps. When its gloomy and grey you can pop this on and trick your brain. Yeah fake sunshine!

This is a very bright light; it’s akin to having the sun right beside you, which means that it feels like you’re looking directly into the sun without eye protection or the warmth of the sun. I wanted this for my office to help keep me alert but I’m just not adjusting to the level of light like I thought I would - even with it turned sideways it’s still too bright. Nothing wrong with my eyes, the light is just much brighter than what is shown in videos or elsewhere. That being said it does keep you alert lol I think I’ll just return this and maybe try out one where I can adjust the brightness. Unfortunately I have to pay more for that.

I purchased several of these for myself & gifts for others after picking up a therapy light of a different brand on a whim @ a different store. I liked it so much I looked for it & found this one @ Best Buy. I move them around where I live from room to room. They are very bright & perfect for a lot of light where & when I need it. Also for plants. The ones I gave for gifts were well received.

This is an impressively bright light. It is the size of a tablet/ipad. It is easy to stand it up either like a portrait or landscape. Recommend if you are looking for an artificial light source.

The size is very good, it sits well on my counter. It is easy to use and lightweight. The on/off switch is situated on the top, easy to use. I would recommend it1

This item seems great so far. It is VERY bright, and may take some getting used to. Look and functionality is great. I like it much better than other happy lights I have seen. It feels reminiscent of a Kindle. Easy to use, easy to assemble (the little kick stand that tilts it up). Quality... well, I haven't used it for long so can't speak to how it will hold up, but it seems a little cheaply made - just based on look and feel. The stand seems like it will probably break if not treated with care. I'll drop it or knock it off the end table at some point so we'll find out.

I love it, it has really helped give me energy, especially on the dark dreary days. I have Seasonal Affective Disorder, but this does help.
