Citizens of Humanity

Inspired by the relaxed attitude of California, Citizens of Humanity was founded in 2003 by Jerome Dahan with a pioneering specialism: investment-grade denim. Each piece is produced by an average of 40 artisans following a 50-step process with sustainability at the core of its operation, including automated pattern cutting and using dyes with a reduced water intake – practices championed by creative director Marianne McDonald. The result is an expansive repertoire of jeans, crafted by hand with a meticulous focus on fit, then finished with variety of washes and edgy distressed accents.
