EASY TO USE
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought more of the outlet plugs to control my Christmas tree, mantel, and stair lights. I have these around the house to control lamps. The outlets are easy to setup and through the app you can set timers and schedules for when you want the lights to turn on. I set a GROUP for my Christmas lights so they go on with one toggle of a button. These outlets work well with Google.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first week they works remotely very well after plugging into outlet , then after second week only works locally. I have to do the factory default resets& update the latest firmware, then they work so well and are very reliable so far more than a month now. Very highly recommended

Q: Question2 questions: 1. Can these be programmed to turn on then off at specific times of day on an ongoing basis? 2. Can these be linked to Alexa for use while inside the home?
Asked by reymikar.
- A:Answer Yes, you plug the plug into the wall and then plug the lamp/coffee maker, etc into this plug. You will need to add it to your Alexa account and Alexa will work once the setup is completed. Also, you will need to download the Kasa app and you can set a timer/schedule, etc Also you can tell Alexa to turn it on or off. I have 6 of these and I tell Alexa to turn on the lights if I want the lights on before the scheduled time. works great for what I want them to do.

Q: QuestionAre they 5G compatible?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hi! Kasa Smart plugs utilize the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi spectrum for connectivity to your network. If by "5G" you are asking about 5G cellular data Internet services - the smart plug should be able to connect to your router as long as it is broadcasting 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. However, if by "5G" you are referring to 5GHz Wi-Fi, the answer would be no; 2.4GHz is required.

Q: QuestionWhat is the wifi working distance for it to be connected to a wireless router
Asked by Billymac.
- A:Answer My router is upstairs in my house and I use one in the basement on the far side from where the router is for a couple of years. We have had power outages and it reconnected by itself when the power came back on. Also one on the front porch during Christmas.

Q: QuestionCan one schedule be set up and shared/used by multiple plugs
Asked by Bubba.
- A:Answer The plugs don't necessarily share a schedule but you can schedule each plug to turn on and off at the same time. You can also use Alexa if you have it to turn a group of plugs on and off at the same time.
