Beautiful during winter.
Beautiful during winter. The sunrise and sunset views are spectacular. Very close to supermarket and eating spots. If visiting during winter, please use a AWD/4WD vehicle and have tire chains/socks available. Terrain is steep and sometimes have snow/ice.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

We like the slope and access.
We like the slope and access. Unfortunately the snow was limited but we did have about 1-1/2 day to ski. We will definitely make it back when there is more snow. I don't like the fact that we cannot buy lift tickets ahead of time online. The equipment we rented was worn and over used. Next time we will rent at another location.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10
The place has a great location and things are close by.
The place has a great location and things are close by. I would recommend lowes food store and stay away from food lion as they are prejudiced and the manager followed us out of the store . We are a mixed couple and I found this behavior very troubling this is the 21st century.

Location and view were great.
Location and view were great. Unit was very dated and needed updating, painting. Took a while to go thru the many remotes before I found the current one and got the tv working. Windows are glazed over hindering the otherwise wonderful view.Cecil - 10Scored 10

There are so many things to do and see it requires going back again snd again! It’s also perfect for sitting and reading! Great barbque! Spicy food at The Bayou in Banner Elk! Fun shopping! Beautiful waterfalls!
