Great game! Even with all the random glitches where Pokemon take forever to lie it in cuts where people can do the same, it's good. I don't like the loss of adventure where you could enter most buildings but for Pokemons first open world game it's awesome.

Worth it even with the glitches

I bought this particular Pokémon addition switch because my son loves the violet game. He thought this was the coolest design. This was a big hit. I had no problem with the language and connecting to the internet.

I love the pokemon franchise, and this game definitely didn't disappoint.  Excellent graphics, plenty of new types to catch and plenty of old favorites to revisit.

I really like this game, it’s my first time playing any Pokémon game that isn’t Pokémon Go. Me and my boyfriend are playing the games together (he got Pokémon scarlet 🙄) and it’s very fun!

amazing

if you love pokémon and just being able to take on a world how YOU want (think botw) then you'll love this. a nonlinear pokémon game! leveling up the mons is easier than ever, identifying the mons you encounter in the over world is so simple, and it's very friendly to people who suck at games. like me! 

there is some left to be desired however, the towns and npcs and a bit lacking. no more barging into peoples' homes and maybe getting a TM from them, no more silly dialogue, and the stores all feel a bit the same. npcs now just have a speech bubble above there head with one line of conversation for you to just,,,,,kind of look at. it's a bit of a turn off. going from lively environments with wild pokémon to a civilization of pokémon enthusiasts is oddly underwhelming. 

there's the standard amount of gyms as always, but additional story lines add more bosses in a sense, if you consider gym leaders to be that. 

i still love this game, even if i cant b e or change the dorky school uniform. at least i can explore paldea without having to immediately grind for each boss type encounter.

love it but just wish for some more

It wasn't as enjoyable as the games I grew up on, but it was still a fun experience. I am starting to feel like the total number of pokemon available has grown too large to make trying to collect them all even in just one version to have gotten too large to not become stale during gameplay.

Decent Pokemon Game.

it's really good, this is my second time owning the game cause i sold the last one. 

i love it but it does glitch. 
theres times the picnic table is invisible and so is the sandwich making. 

i don't like how you're stuck in one kind of clothes. 
just with different seasonal versions. 

graphics is good. 

but the finding of the swords are hard.

Item came damaged, opened and missing the manual. Walmart is replacing but I have to find a FedEx place to return it. Very inconvenient in our small county :(

Used

After having purchased this game in November 2022 for a Christmas gift to my son, it is no longer working as of June 2023. Says unable to load. We have tried going to the website listed for tips and nothing has worked. All of my son's progress is lost and he is upset. We tried YouTube for tips and even a game repair shop with no success.
