Directions: From the North: Take I-95 South or the Turnpike South to 595 West. On 595 take I-75 North towards Naples. Stay on I-75 North until you come to Exit 23 North (U.S. Highway 27) towards South Bay. We are just two miles to the North on the right hand side of the road. Turn right and cross over the bridge, make another immediate right down into the parking lot. Tickets for the airboat rides and animal exhibits can be purchased in the store. (Yellow building.) Look for a variety of wildlife, like alligators, fish, turtles, and wading birds. This private tour has its advantages over the larger, public tour, including a smaller boat to get deeper into the Everglades and for a longer period of time.
After the airboat ride, grab a bite to eat at The Gator Grill and then check out the exhibits inside Sawgrass Recreation Park:
The Reptile Exhibit features dozens of species that are both native and exotic to Florida—from turtles, iguanas, snakes and baby alligators as well as Cannibal, an alligator weighing a whopping 1,000 pounds (434 kg). Learn about how these animals live and survive in the wild from the park's handlers, and snap a memorable shot.
In the Glades Exhibit, check out our African spur thigh tortoises, which range in size from 20 to over 100 pounds (9 to over 45 kg) each, as well as iguanas, and colorful peacocks. Mine for gems or fossils at The Sawgrass Mining Company and visit our Village Gift Shop with hand crafted jewelry and other souvenirs.

We had a great time zooming about on our airboat and learned a lot about the Everglades and the state in general from our terrific guide, Captain Jimmy. I definitely recommend the full hour trip.

Unfortunately we were unable to go on this experience of a lifetime because my wife lost our passports the morning of the trip, we ended up searching every where three times, which made us run past the scheduled ti.e of our trip, I was so upset, we actually found, said passports hidden in a pillow case at 11pm that night, Divorce was on the cards if it wasn't for the Cruise the next day...

This was so much fun! We had a great time cruising around looking for alligators. We were lucky enough to spot 4 of them! We did a private tour and it was perfect!

Great time for me and my family!!! The whole organization was well run from the dispatcher of the boats to the customer service cashiers. Lastly Captain Mike took his time to show us the lay of the land/swamps and was well versed with all the wildlife. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic boat ride. We had a private airboat ride and it was worth every penny. Had a great time and was educated on so much. Saw a couple alligators and birds. Just loved it!!!

Staff at check-in and Guide Nick was nice but tour was boring. It was just a ride on an airBoat. Only saw 1 Alligator and 1 heron no wildlife around.
It was disappointing.

Wonderful tour. Awesome captain, very interesting and informative. All the staff were super helpful and friendly. The Everglades is such a unique eco system. Truly a treasure. Plus we saw various wildlife including several alligators!! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time on our tour! Jimmy was full of knowledge and despite telling us when we began that we would more than likely not see any alligators due to weather.we saw several gators, birds, and turtles!! Great time! Highly recommend private tour if you can to be able to ride in and out of smaller areas.
