I love The Home Edit! My sister “introduced” me to Clea and Joanna several months ago. I was so excited to see they will be selling their organization bins at Walmart! And I really, really like these! I think they are a great size and I love that they stack! I like that they are clear so I can do the color thing as the ladies do on their Netflix series. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that they are not dishwasher safe (I love tossing my plastics into the dishwasher when they get dusty or dirty). The product card that came with them says they will have a line of refrigerator products too- excited for those too! I can’t wait to see the entire line of The Home Edit products!

Awesome Bins

There are so many uses for this bin! I am using it to store my mini white boards and markers in my classroom. These get sanitized after each use, and returned to the bin for future use. Another option is to use it as a “sanitizing station”. I keep hand sanitizer, tissues, band-aids, etc. here, and the kids know where to go when they need something without having to ask me for it. I love the versatility of the bin. It has 2 handles on the sides, for easy transporting. It does not weigh much, but is sturdy enough to hold some weight. I can envision it in a bathroom with guest towels and guest soaps as well. Maybe even a spare roll of tp? I am pleased with this bin, and would recommend it whole heartedly.

Storage Holders

Amazing container, love them, have tons. The sticker on front however is sooooo painful to take off. You end up having to wash them, then they get water spots. The inside security label is way easier to take off than the front paper label. Anyway, great container just takes a while to be able to use them!

I found the bins useful for storing certain things but not everything.  

The Home Edit Large bins are made from BPA plastic, although I do not know how or what type of unpackaged food you would store in it with open side hole handles and no secure air tight lid. The plastic is not rigid and has a slight flexibility making it less brittle, with this in mind it is logical that it is durable and will stand up to bumps and accidental drops better.  

These Home Edit Large bins do have some practical storage options.  I found the 10" x 10" x 6" size perfect for storing supplement bottles of all shapes and sizes for easy access. Instead of reaching around front bottles I can take out the entire Home Edit bin and easily get to the bottles in the back. The bin fit in my kitchen cupboard with about one inch left to spare in width. The Home Edit Large bins also hold my workout gloves with the new ones in one bin and the workout gloves that require laundering in the second stack-able bin.  The clear sides help to locate specific items faster.  Other applications for storage could be for first aid, scarfs, bathroom, tape, ties, packaged food, canned goods, and mail to name a few.

Any small items may not work in these Home Edit bins because of the handle holes, which measure 4.25" x 1.5". The handle holes are on two opposite sides of the Home Edit bin and prevent using the full height of the bin for smaller items, which would fall out (i.e. matchbox cars). 

I found the handles useless as handles go.  My hand easily fit in; however I was holding the bin on the bottom and grabbing the bin at the top not at the handle, and if the handle is not facing me, I could not even use it if I wanted to. 

I recommend the Home Edit Large bins for organization of medium to larger items in areas that have closed storage (i.e closets and cupboards) since the bins have holes in the side where dust and debri can enter and no secure lids.  


 

not for everything

I got 2 of these tubs for multi use storage purpose. I love anything that has multiple uses. But these are going to go inside my storage cabinet in the garage to hold some of the smaller things gs that I pit in there. You could also get fancy and decorate these as well. Would recommend to other consu.ers.

Why would you put a huge sticker here that doesn't easily come off??? Argh!

Frustrating!

I have several items from The Home Edition to organize my home. This product is a good size and quality for what I need. However, the sticker they use on the bin is absolutely terrible. It's not easy to remove, leaves a lot of residue that doesn't come off, and is the reason I will not buy this product again. You'd think a home organization company would put more thought into the packaging, but unfortunately it's a deal breaker for me.
