Great Price Anonymous reviewerEasy to Assemble Great Design Looks Fantastic 5
Slats aren’t fit for purposeAnonymous reviewerPurchased this bed for our 7 year old daughter in May last year so not even 12 months old and one slat has snapped. My husband said they look as though they’re joined at points rather than bring one piece of wood there for these cannot be stable nor fit for purpose or even durable? We’ve had one broken already with an average sized 7 year old sleeping on it. Dread to think how many more will break.. Not happy it’s also dropped by £50 since I bought it at £350 just goes to show the quality of it, it looks great but I wouldn’t recommend1

ReviewAnonymous reviewerLovely bed, great size and with the ikea mattresses it is extremely comfortable.4
Lovely bedAnonymous reviewerLovely bed, our daughter is very happy with it
The instructions weren’t the clearest and so it took quite some time to put together.
Also very heavy so needs at least 2 people to assemble/move5
Really good for storageAnonymous reviewerOnly flaw, it has to be an ikea mattress! Could do with British sizes fitting too. But love the product.4
Very sturdyAnonymous reviewerExcellent product, quite disappointing however when you want to pull the bed out to make into a double it’s very very stiff to the point that it feels it may fall apart. Very heavy indeed. 4
NICE COLOUR, SOLID BUILDAnonymous reviewerWe got this daybed as extra sleeping capacity in our house. It was challenging to build (took us over 3 hours) but is a nice, solid piece of furniture that we'll use for years to come. My only complaint is that, even going with the most expensive recommended IKEA mattresses for the daybed, the top mattress is constantly shifting and moving. Also using two mattresses in the closed position, means that the daybed is really too high for normal sitting (and we're tall people). I would love it if they could design a way to store the second mattress within the frame in such a way that allows for regular sitting on just one mattress.4
Lovely day bedAnonymous reviewerGood bed, bit fiddly to put together but end result worth the effort. Looks good4
Bed slats are a problemAnonymous reviewerThe slats regularly move and come loose and eventually fall off. Cannot recommend 1
DelightedAnonymous reviewerI have wanted one of these for many years and now I have one I am very happy with it. I swapped my lounge and bedrooms around, using my bedroom now as a workroom/studio, so needed something good to sleep on daily in the lounge. So far it is very good - although at 72 some days I find it hard to close and open up, but that is an age thing and not the item's fault! Loving the colour too. 5
Panels not spray painted adequately Anonymous reviewerI received the bed today at first no problems, instructions quite straight forward.
However the white satin finish on the panels, headboard , footboard, side panels and rails have only had at the most one coat of paint.
All panels are of a plain pine type wood which have several knots and lines in it and then they are painted in satin white.
You can visibly see the knots and lines showing through the satin paint which requires at least one other coat of paint.
I was on the phone for an hour with a customer service agent who most definitely has no understanding of what good customer service looks like.
I am awaiting a call from a supervisor tomorrow and hopefully can resolve the matter.1
Great design, but not very comfyAnonymous reviewerFrustrating that it’s only compatible with random sized ikea mattress. Makes the bed v uncomfortable even with a mattress topper (that doesn’t fit!). Does look great though3
Amazing bed and sofa, very cozyAnonymous reviewerIts a job to build it but it is worth it. It is confortable as a bed or as a sofa. I love this item. Probably will buy again for my daughter. 5
Great product but no replacement slatsAnonymous reviewerHave loved this product but very disappointed that after only having it for 15 months 3 slats have broken. This is not a problem but Ikea do not sell replacement slats. So what are we supposed to do with our bed?2
Great bedAnonymous reviewerIt's a little pricey, but this is a brilliant bed! Took me most of the day to put together as a 20 year old, 4'11 female, so you can take that as a sign that assembly was not too demanding and about as enjoyably challenging as you'd want it to be for new, exciting furniture. It's a sturdy frame, doesn't creak, and the drawers are spacious. Pulling the single out gets you a twin bed, and it's a reasonably smooth process. I got 2 afjall foam mattresses with this bed, medium firm, and they're as soft and comfortable as an actual mattress, which I was relieved by because i love soft beds. The dimensions are 80×200, but you could make this daybed fit a normal single mattress that's 90×190 by pulling out the drawer slightly, although of course that won't be helpful if you want a twin.
Overall, this is a great bed and I recommend it for a small bedroom storage solution.5
Classic - best for forever homesAnonymous reviewerIt’s just such a nice product. However, once assembled it is a monster to move. 4
Great bed and more comfortable than I had hopedAnonymous reviewerWe chose this bed because the 2 mattresses lie side by side when opened out to make a comfortable double (UK Kingsize). I have bought a topper to put on top but don't think it will be necessary. Delivery was efficient. We didn't ask for the bed parts to be put in the room we wanted - apparently, you can ask. Assembly took about 4 - 5 hours, which my husband did over 2 evenings. Mostly the instructions were clear but he said there were a couple of ambiguous instructions. The trundle bed is firm and could be slept on alone but when pulled out away from the main frame I was surprised that the main bedframe isn't solid on all 4 sides, so unable to support a person sleeping in a single bed - in other words, you couldn't use this as a pair of twin beds. Folded away, I've put loads of cushions on it and think it will be comfy as a sofa. The bed is heavy & to move it you have to take the trundle out. The remaining slats aren't supported all the way around, so take care.5
Nice day bed, pick it up from IKEA!Anonymous reviewerIn the end it took us about 3 weeks to FINALLY get this bed, It's nice and i'd recommend it.
It's fiddly to build up, you may need the patience of a saint for this one!
In the end though it's a good buy if you're struggling for space like we were, but i'd absolutely recommend to go collect it yourself.
You need 4 boxes for the bed, it took 3 delivery attempts to finally get all the parts needed to build the bed ( 4 if you include the delivery that never bothered to show!) and in the end the best solution IKEA could think of is reordering the entire 4 boxes and rejecting 3/4 boxes when they arrived... instead of just ordering the one box needed.
Anyway, it finally came at the expense of multiple deliveries and some poor packer that had to load 3 boxes unnecessarily that day!
IKEA need to do better in situations like this as surely they affect their climate agenda also.

Great bed Anonymous reviewerMy daughters had this bed for 10years, it’s survived a house move too, really sturdy bed, easy to convert, very handy for sleepovers. And the drawers under are huge!. Cannot recommend enough 5
