Great product!

I have 3 other hose reel by Suncast just like this one in my backyard and they're almost 20 y/o. They're durable and looks good. 
I had good looking copper hose hideaway  for my front yard and they gets really HOT in Las Vegas summer. Big mistake!
I'm glad that I replaced with this !

Received my Suncast Smart Trak SMT200WDJ hideaway hose reel today. This is very well made. Design , durability, and appearance is very nice and I am looking forward to using it. I downloaded the instructions but they do not tell what these two metal brackets zip tied to the reel inside are for? I registered mine but have not received the registration number yet to submit a request to them. Anyone know what these are for?

Very well made

It's a bit early to state a fully truthful review as we have not had enough opportunities to use.  However,  I gave it a 4 rather than 5 star rating because Suncast had to send me a replacement part, which was done in a timely manner.
Cons:
The lid appears to have been dropped at some time, which does not affect it's operation;
The reel handle appears to be a bit weak/flimsy with the potential of breaking sometime down the line;
Pros:
My 100 foot heavy duty hose easily winds and unwinds;
Ease of set up and easy to follow instructions;
Very helpful and friendly support staff;
Good value

Great Product and Value

Really like this stand-alone hose reel.  Purchased the same kind for the front of my house in 2017 and it still works great after six years, so I am now purchasing a second unit to use around the back.  Easy to set up, very little assembly required.  I like that it winds and guides the hose without twisting it,  and that it has a nice overall appearance.  Two metal stakes are provided for keeping it secure, so it won't slide around as the hose is being pulled out.  
The only negative thing is that the arm/handle is one solid piece, and therefore the handle does not rotate in your hand as you wind up the hose.  This means you have to release/regrip during each rotation, which is kind of awkward.  I 'fixed' mine by cutting a short piece of an old pool noodle and sliding it over the end of the handle.  Stays in place but yet allows the handle to spin as you wind it, making the winding much easier.
One word of precaution, where we live (southeast US), it seems that wasps like to build their nest on the underside of the lid, so on the rare occasion you have to lift it up, do so slowly and carefully.

Great reel, just one small flaw.

Could have been better if the connecting pipe is flexible. Poor design, however it works. We are using for a 150ft pipe.

Good for the price, poor design though

This garden hose reel is very large and attractive. It works well but has some parts I'm not certain how to use. I wish it had more instructions! Over-all it serves its purpose to store my garden hose and reel it in and out easily. I'm very pleased with it!

A very attractive garden hose reel and hide-away!

I had to return mine because it will not stop leaking. I have an older model with the metal water inlet and it has been great for 15 years or so. But the top was cracked and it was just looking bad, so I ordered this new model to replace it. The new one has a plastic water inlet and it leaks like crazy. I tried replacing the inlet hose and the hose washer but nothing worked. I am really disappointed because my old one lasted so long and was so much better quality.

Can not real a hose without moving 
It leaks and it's so light weight that when you real the hose in, you need another person to hold the reel while the other reels in the hose. It's not meant for daily use or a one person job. I mean, im a retired officer who worked out daily and my husband is a mechanic, both of which are pretty fit. Neither of us can do this correct by ourselves. It really is less sturdy than a 5 gallon bucket plastic. No way this will hold up to daily use where we have an acre of land to drag the hose. I really don't know who will find this useful.
