    Best "green" toilet paper

This is the best eco friendly toilet paper. I hate how recycled toilet paper easily rips - also later hated them more after realizing they require a lot of water to manufacture. But these bamboo TP, not only are they eco friendly but are super durable. i.e. you can use them for wiping the bathroom surfaces. And my girlfriend says they also don't stick to her butt.

I'm writing a review for great toilet paper? I am!

I've tried other brands that aim to do the same as Tushy but well, they weren't so soft on my tushy.

Love the paper and the outside fancy-schmancy decorative wrapping is pretty great also.

    Definitely recommend.

TUSHY’s mission is to elevate people and the planet with the best-in-class, innovative & most sustainable toileting products.

Frequently asked questions

Bamboo products are not only soft like a baby panda's bottom and absorbent for optimal butt patting, but(t) it is also a sustainable resource. Bamboo absorbs 35% more CO₂ per hectare than equivalent plants and is the fastest growing plant on earth growing up to 39 inches in just one day making it a much more sustainable resource than virgin wood. That means that bamboo is ultrareplenishable in addition to helping reduce deforestation (15% of deforestation is due to toilet paper production).

One roll of our Bamboo TP takes just 0.59 gallons of water to make. While one roll of conventional TP takes 37 gallons of water! Not only are trees and water spared from being used to wipe our cracks, but bamboo toilet paper manufacturing releases 30% fewer greenhouse gas emissions than its hardwood counterpart.

The raw material is 100% bamboo.

We practice biological pulping, meaning; we don't use chlorine at all during the process. No bleach. All natural.

In addition to its environmental benefits, bamboo toilet paper is also a strong but soft material, making it a luxurious choice that is still durable enough to do its job. Naturally hypoallergenic, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial, bamboo toilet paper is an exceptional choice for sensitive skin.

Sure is! Bamboo is 100% biodegradable. Septic professionals are also keen on bamboo toilet paper because it breaks down faster than both virgin hardwood and recycled toilet paper. Bamboo toilet paper flushed into your septic’s primary treatment system will take up less space and put a lighter strain on the bacteria working to break down the solids. Bamboo toilet paper is also free of any harsh chemicals, bleaching or de-inking process that may interfere with the septic system’s bacterial environment.
