The little screws, nuts/bolts and plastic wood pieces end up all over the house. Without the wood being anchored to something, they are a bit useless. My son loves the hammer and screw driver! They are perfectly sized for his little hands and made of very solid plastic. The top of the bucket is also a construction hat with detachable Mickey Mouse ears, which is really neat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my son Disney Junior Mickey Mouse Handy Helper Tool Bucket for his birthday. He was so excited to get something from Mickey, since his favorite show is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. My son enjoyed all the activities that came in this bucket. The only adult assembly required was to snap the ears on the helmet, which only takes a few seconds. The rest is up two kids what they will build and their minds. The great thing about this toy is while they are having fun there are also learning cognitive skills. This toy is also like a puzzle. The pieces have to fit and you have to use certain tools with each piece. Comes with a hammer, screwdriver, and a wrench so children can learn how to use each one. The Mickey's hat is adjustable. All the pieces are large and hard plastic. It does come with nuts to go with the bolts I did catch my son trying to eat one. But this set is recommended for three and up and he just turned two. Other than that my son has really enjoyed playing with this toy and I've enjoyed watching I'm playing along.

Lots of fun learning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 5year old Mickey and tool fan. It's super cute how everything comes in a bucket with a Mickey hard hat.  The hat has an adjustable strap inside so it will fit even smaller heads. Unfortunately it doesn't work for my son. His head is on the smaller side and while I can make the hard hat fit by adjusting it, the strap itself keeps falling out of the hat which makes the hat not stay on. The tools are fun and seem good quality and just the right size for little hands. Fun for the little handyman/woman in your life.

Cute tool set

This is a nice play set...for older kids. And yet the hat is rather small. The utility knife is way too sharp for 4-year-olds, but then the same could be said of the 90 degree ruler. The toys do look rather realistic and are of decent quality, so aside from the sharpness of those two tools, and the high price, I don't have much else to complain about.

Recommend it for older kids (5 )

Wow this toy is just trash, a lot of people seem to have been sent this for promo. Thus giving it a 5 star review when it's trash! The “wood” ISNT deep enough to screw or hammer the nails or screws into. It's just a waste of money.
