Pros (+) Room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Bed was very comfy. Location was excellent - easy walk to restaurants & the Music Hall. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were varied and good.
Cons (-) The tile floor in the sink & bath area was freezing cold! Granted, it was January, and the outside temps were near zero, but brrrrrr!

Pros (+) The breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The hotel was a great location so we could leave our car in the lot and walk to restaurants downtown.
Cons (-) The decor of the room was interesting and different, but maybe a little too busy with all the lattice on the walls. I prefer a more calming decor in a bedroom. My only real complaint was the shower. There was little water pressure and just a stream of water coming out. Other than that, everything was fine.

Pros (+) Enjoyed staff and fellow guests, especially as they were so welcoming to our dog. The bed was very comfortable too.
Cons (-) There were elevator issues during our stay.

Pros (+) Well maintained, converted Victorian private home with addition. Furnishings eclectic and comfortable. Beds comfortable for us, though our friends found theirs soft. Good continental breakfast. Walking distance from restaurants and shops. Parking in back of hotel which is a bonus in Portsmouth. We were there in March so the sitting room with fireplace was very pleasant. We were only there 2 nights...
Cons (-) More games available in the common areas would be nice.
