Love love love having this on my desk at work. The growth is incredible and people often stop in to check out its progress. The light provides a nice glow and the water bubbling also provides a calming presence throughout the day. Super happy with my Sprout.

Love love love it

I bought this for my 13 year old son for Christmas.   He loves to have a garden but misses it in the winter.  It was easy to set up and use.  The directions are easy to follow.  Within 48 hours the seeds had sprouted.  He was very excited.  Very low maintenance.  It tells you when it needs more food and water.  Very user friendly for the beginner gardener or seasoned pro.

Great for the gardner enthusiasts

I bought this out of curiosity, and I am so glad I did.  The set up was easy, and I had my Aerogarden up and running within a few minutes of opening the box.  I first noticed growth after 3 days.  

I have attempted to grow vegetables outdoors, but had little success for my efforts compared to flowers.  I am looking forward to my first salad (which should be soon based upon the growth of my salad greens). 

It looks great in my kitchen.  I wish I would have bought it sooner - I love it.

Easy set up and fast growth

I purchased a 3 pod red color Sprout LED, and love it. I am presently growing Bok Choy, and they are presently about 4 inches high. I plan to stir fry them in garlic and butter, as soon as they are large enough to be cut. I have had Bok Choy before, and it is a chinese type vegetable that is delicious cooked this way. I have four other Aerogardens, one is a six pod all with the Mighty Miniature Tomato's on them and a nine pod with all Herb (custom) garden (marjoram, lime basil, cilantro, rosemary, chives, shunku (chinese), sage, tyme, terrigon). I also have two red six pod Aerogardens that contain a variety of custom lettuce's. I have been enjoying growing inside my house, since Florida has very humid summer weather, and is nice to be able to grow comfortably inside. Also, I am immunosuppressant, due to my double lung transplant last year and antirejection medications, so growing not in the dirt is much cleaner for my health, it is much more risk free. Besides, also, the lettuce salads have been plentiful and very delicious too!

3 pod red color Sprout LED

My Sprout garden came bundled with a Bounty Basic. The Sprout has grown herbs and lettuce, and I even started two Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes plants in it. It fits nicely in my kitchen countertop's corner and really looks nice. It's handy to pick some herbs or lettuce from while I make meals.

A Sprout is nice if you only want three herbs or a small salad every few days. If it hadn't come bundled with my Bounty Basic, knowing what I now know about Aerogardens, I would save up for a Harvest as a starting garden. You can do a lot more with it, and even as an "herbs-only" garden, it allows for a lot more variety. But if you only have a small amount of space, or a small budget, the Sprout is a great little machine. It does a good job!

I think it's adorable!  I can't wait for fresh lettuce and tomato whenever I want.  All three pods are sprouted and growing nicely, bigger every day!  The lights are very bright so be prepared to put it somewhere it won't bother you.  Also the aerator is a little noisy, like a fish tank,  even with the TV on...but we have a small house.  Be sure and read and follow the directions.

Love it!

So far so good simple set up and growth in 7 days.  Just an FYI light is bright pump does make some noise.

New Sprout owner initial review

I love Aerogardens - over the past years I've always had 1 or 2 growing at a time - I recently bought an Herbie for my grandson but was disappointed that only one side seemed to grow so I replaced it with a Sprout - and while all 3 plants are growing - the plants in my six pod which were planted on the same day as the Sprout are 4 times larger than the plants in the Sprout.  So when you go smaller - you definitely sacrifice output.

Small Imprint But Less Impressive Results

Basil came up and was able to take a few leaves off then the plant got a bit shriveled up and brown.  Parsley and dill never came up at all.   So disappointed.  My son and daughter both have one that is doing quite well and that is why I purchased.
