I'm very happy with this purchase. We needed a solution to prevent our otherwise perfect pooch from tipping over the trash to hunt for treasure. I never before wanted an automated trash container but must say I love the fact you don't need to touch the can at all. It opens very smoothly and closes immediately. Very easy to install 2 size D batteries, flip the switch and your good to go. Another attractive feature is the container ring which holds and hides the bag. This makes it a sleek and clean look to have in the kitchen. I would recommend this product. The price is comparatively reasonable.

Problem solver for our home.

Great motion sensor trash can for half the price of others! I'd been looking for an affordable motion sensor kitchen trash can, especially in white, to go with my white kitchen, and this fits the bill 1000%! It is not completely quiet-it makes a mewing kitten sound opening and closing, but to me, it's unobtrusive. It's the perfect size, and I like having the removable ring instead of having to haul out the entire inner liner-that's a great design feature. I'm so happy with this item!

Great kitchen can-incredible value.

Never saw the appeal to these. Then I got Covid and pneumonia and was bleaching and Lysoling everything I touched constantly. I saw this on sale and figured why not. I love this!! To not have to touch the trash can is so great. It stays cleaner. It does open alot when you walk buy it. Had some small dings and dents but for $40 I kind of expect it not to be indestructible.    
Im sure a more expensive ove would be more durable and what not but if you are on a budget this one is perfect
