I have had the hardest time finding yeast during COVID 19. I was so happy to find this on walmart.com it got delivered so fast and works perfectly! Baked some beautiful breads and cinnamon rolls. It's a big bag and yeast goes bad quick, so store it in the fridge after opening.

Great!

I keep this brick in a small, sealed Rubbermaid container in the fridge and use 2 1/4 teaspoons of yeast per loaf of bread in the breadmaker.  This lasts a long, long time and does a super job of making a great white sandwich loaf.  Just keep it sealed in the container, it goes on and on.

Reliable Yeast For Homemade Bread

Was not sure if I can use it in bread machine , but worked well when tried.   It is a big 1 lb pack , I stored in refrigerator after opening it, so it can be used for long time.Was very happy to find this in Walmart  during this pandemic difficult times.

Thanks to Walmart and the advent of using outside vendor services online, I not only found Saf-Instant Yeast, but the delivery service was much quicker than the vendor or Walmart stated. I'm impressed. Now I'm baking the many breads, yeast cakes and other pastries that fill my kitchen with the bouquet of fresh baked goods. Walmart is my online store of choice these days.

Arrives hard (is normal), once you open the packaging the compressed air will release and you can start your baking process.

This is yeast from Mexico, surprise, surprise, and the manufacture date is recent from March, good size should last for a while, tried it out already and worked perfect! Made some Biscuits and some Cinnamon rolls, came out perfect! Highly recommended. (King Arthur makes this)

Bought a pack last year when the pandemic began, and it last long. Kept it in the refrigerator and its still active now after being opened for almost a year. Got the second pack recently, but the expiration date is quite close. Not sure if we can use it up by then...

Product was old and ruined my bread.  I usually get yeast at Costco and it lasts 6 years in the freezer.  This went into the freezer when I received it but was dead when used .
