Why is my Savings account login changing?
American Express is creating a better online account experience for its Savings account holders. We have updated our online Savings servicing experience at americanexpress.com and added Savings on the Amex App.

I am an American Express Card Member with a Card login. I want one login for accessing all my Savings and Card accounts together in one place. How do I log in to Savings?
For Amex Card Members with a Card login, you can link your Savings account to your Card login to access and manage your accounts together online and in the Amex App. Follow instructions from the Amex Card Members box on the Savings login page and log in using your existing American Express Card User ID and password.

Please note: The first time you select the Amex Card Member login, you’ll be asked to enter your Social Security number and date of birth to validate your identity and link your Savings account. Going forward, you’ll be able to access your Savings and Card accounts side-by-side by logging-in at americanexpress.com and in the Amex App.

I am an American Express Card Member with a Card login. I want to keep my Savings and Card logins separate. How do I log in to Savings?
For Amex Card Members who wish to keep their Savings and Card account logins separate, you need to create an American Express User ID & password to access your Savings account in the new experience and in the Amex App. Follow the instructions from the Customers without an Amex Card box on the Savings login page to create your new login.

Please note: You will be asked for your Social Security number and date of birth to get started. Once you create your new Amex login, you can either use the Log in here link to access your account, or going forward, you’ll be able to access your Savings account by logging-in at americanexpress.com and in the Amex App.

I do not have an American Express Card. How do I log in to Savings?

Once you create your new Amex login, you can either use the Log in here link to access your account, or going forward, you’ll be able to access your Savings account by logging-in at americanexpress.com and in the Amex App.

You will be able to add your Amex Card to your new account access after logging-in by clicking the “Add Another Card” link at the top of your account list view.

Why can't American Express migrate or link my login credentials on my behalf?
At American Express, we want you to be safe and secure when you bank with us online or by mobile device. Due to the sensitive nature of personal information, we are unable to automatically migrate your User ID and password to the new digital experience. We are also unable to automatically connect Savings and Card accounts for our customers without their verification.

All CDs must be funded within 60 calendar days from the time we approve your application or will be subject to closure.
