julie c plush, thick fur "bean" bag - The fur cover of this bean bag is really pretty, soft and very thick - it was the main selling point for me. As others have recommended, definitely put the filling insert into the bean bag as soon as you open up the filling's plastic bag and before it can expand. It took about 10 minutes of wrangling to squeeze the ample amount of filling into the cover and I was being very careful not to pull on the opening or zipper. Also, the filling insert is seamed just like the bean bag cover and has a zipper as well. Make sure you align the insert zipper with the cover zipper, that way if you decide that the bean bag is too full or too empty you'll be able to unzip the insert and do what you need to do. The bean bag is quite heavy and it is filled with chopped up foam (not polystyrene beads) so it has a different sort of feel to it. It holds it's form much more than our other traditionally filled bean bag and with the amount of stuffing you don't really sink into it but that could be remedied by removing some stuffing. We are completely pleased with our purchase.
