Love it! Fits shoes Fits 5 individual (2.5 pairs) women's size 8 shoes on each row, or up to 7 (3.5 pairs) youth size 12. Has 12 rows of mesh shelves to fit all our shoes (and even some boots), and make it easy for my 3 and 5 year olds to put away their own shoes. One small complaint is that it is difficult for me (impossible for my kids) to shut the door.

Love this shoe rack! I have been looking for a way to store my tall boots(15 to 17 inches high) without having to bend them or having them fall between the cracks. This shoe rack has mesh on the bottom and the back so my boots lay flat and don't fall out.  It's perfect and I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Great for tall boots

So I didn't use mine for over the door. The brackets have a ‘cut' line on them (you bend the metal back and forth on the three hole section) and I mounted them on my closet wall. Them…I liked it so much I ordered two. I don't regret the purchase. If I can figure out how to attach a picture or two I will. And if I can it's a closet so don't judge me…just sayin. Also I thrift shop so don't judge me there either and yes, I know I have a problem.

Great solution!

It was really easy to put together. I wish it was a little deeper for the other shoes that hang out but the smaller shoes that are not high tops fit very well in this rack.

Sturdy shoe holder helps me out a lot

Once put together, the shelves are close together and cannot fit my husbands sneakers or bulkier shoes. My shoes all fit fine but the photo is misleading showing lots of space for the shoes but instead it's very crammed. Also I don't think you can even fit more than 2 pairs of men's shoes on each row but if it's women's heels, or smaller shoes like children's, then 3 would fit. 
It was easy to put together just took a little time to screw all the bars on and get the mesh onto it. Overall I did manage to store lots of shoes in my closet without it being cluttered. Just wish the bulkier shoes would fit.

Shelving size

Basically five stars as there were easy to understand instructions and it was quick to put together, maybe 15 minutes. It also serves our purpose well, housing 36!!! pair of shoes. I used some of the ‘shelves' for scarves, handbags, and belts. I searched high and low for the right dimensions, storage and price. 

The only problem and it was a significant one as we almost took it apart and brought it back, it didn't fall flush with the door. So when you open/shut the door it bangs on the door. We had to purchase two brackets to wrap around the rods at the bottom to secure it to the door. We rent, they are old wooden doors so I thought it was a small price to pay. Note that when we closed the door the bolts rubbed slightly on the door frame.

We bought two and I would buy again. They feel a little bulky as they take up a fair amount of space when you close the door. Be sure to measure carefully. Our door width was narrow barely fitting the piece so those brackets we bought helped with that too. Long term, although the mesh is somewhat thick, I could see how pointy shoes may rip through. Hope that helps.

Good buy

This product was easy to assemble, it can hold a good amount of shoes, it doesn't get in the way of the door being closed when it hangs over the door. Although it is a good organizer for adult shoes, children shoes fit on it perfectly.

Can hold a good amount of shoes!

Easy to assemble and fast delivery but a bit smaller than advertised! As you can see in the pictures they use slimmer shoes unlike crocs and air forces so i can fit two sneakers and one pair of slides on one rack since I can turn the slides sideways..

Good for the price!

So I got this for my man because I'm tired of his shoes being spread on the floor lol. He wears a 10 in men and I was only able to place 12 pairs of his shoes horizontal instead 2-3 pairs as advertised on the box. They seem to fall or not fit his high tops if I do it like on the box. If you get it for kids shoes then yes you can do it like the box. Also, it definitely won't fit women's high boots! As far as installing it…The mesh net can get very frustrating! But I got it after a while. It says on the instructions to make sure the tag is at the top, I thought they were referring to the mainstays tag but no…They mean a very small tag that says “top”.

Not as advertised

Like: easy to assemble, sturdy, it does not move or bangs against the door when you open or close it. The mesh seems strong enough.
Dislike: 
NOT for adult size shoes. 
The shoes come off the shelf too much and easily knocked down.
Cannot store 3 adults pairs of shoes in one shelf, then NOT ok for 36 pairs as it says. Kids size and small size shoes ok., otherwise continue looking for a different shoe rack. Too bad, I really liked it!
